May 2016

About the study

• The aim is to form a picture of differences in climate and weather between the countries involved in the project.

• You can also study more issues for your own school’s purposes.

Let’s keep diary about…

• …day lenght (sun rise to sun set)• …sunshine / cloudiness• …rainfall (amount of rainy days per week) (0-5/5)• …temperature (degree celcius)• …air pressure (hPa / mbar)*• …relative air humidity (%)*

* The last two are examples of optional issues for possible extra work in local school. You don’t have to include optional infomation into the data you bring to Helsinki. You can do so if you want to, however.

Picture it

• Take a picture of the same view once a month• It is good to choose a view that clearly brings

out changes during a year.• You can also add pictures of migrating species

and first signs of the spring, the first snowfall etc.

• Please make sure that you have the rights to use a picture if it’s not your own.
