• 4.89 average grade obtained by candidates who passed the diploma (4.89 out of 7)

• 364 students took 737 exams in 30 subject areas

• 72% students tested scored a 4 or better (4 out of 7)

CONTENTS: WHAT DOES THE IB DIPLOMA PROGRAM CURRICULUM CONTAIN?

The curriculum contains six subject groups and a core of three parts

Students study concurrently:•three subjects at the high level (240 hours each)

•three subjects at the standard level (150 hours each)

•all three parts of the core

The IB Learner Profile and the core are central to the philosophy of the Diploma Program.

Application Deadline – January 20, 2012 (4PM)

At least one parent or guardian must attend two high school information sessions. A transfer application must be signed by the principal at the end of each meeting.

W-L is only accepting IB transfers. If the number of qualified program transfers exceeds 83 a random double-blind lottery will be conducted by the Superintendent’s office.

Transfers that do not pursue the full diploma must take three IB courses Junior and Senior year. All IB transfers are also required to take AP Government in 10th grade.

Bus transportation is provided for IB transfers that live at least 1.5 miles away.
