Trabajadora Social
Saludos padres, madres y estudiantes:
Sea ejemplo a

Ms. R. Marrero - Assistant
Hello Parents,
Welcome all to our P-K group. We are very excited and happy to have your child as one of our
students. We are off to a great start of a wonderful year.
My little ones are learning to follow instructions, share, take turns, form a quiet and straight line
and even make friends. This week we will still be practicing our fine motor skills by tracing and
coloring. We will be introducing “The School Unit", where they will learn the school materials.
They are also learning new songs.
Remember to review your child's notebooks every day. Please practice and supervise their work.
Have a Great day!
Colored Hugs, Mrs. Sandy

Mrs. Leidi A. Meléndez
Español (Segundo a sexto grado)
Salón hogar: 3er grado
Weekly: 14 al 18 de agosto de 2017
Saludos,
******************************************************************************

Mrs. Samanta Chardón
Computer, Algebra II (9th) and College Math Teacher (12th)
Hello! My name is Samanta Chardón and I’m very excited for being a part of Washburn family.
I will be the computer teacher for grades Pre-k to 3rd grade and 5th grade to 12 grade. Also I will
be teaching Algebra II to 9th grade and Basic College Math to 12th grade. I can’t wait to learn
about all of you and your kids too.
I was born in Ponce and graduated from the UPR in Mayaguez in geology and I have a teacher
certification. I have 13 years of experience teaching elementary/intermediate and secondary
grades. Every school and class is a different adventure, so I’m looking forward to share with your
kids and make this experience fun and enjoyable as possible. We are going to be doing lots of work
but also lots of fun to go along with all the learning. If you have any questions or concerns feel
free to contact me at school.
We are receiving brand new Lenovo desktops, high powered computers in the Computer Lab for
our class and also multiple uses that will get Washburn towards the STEM learning into the 21st
century.
