member to bring a blanket or some chairs! You will surely be toe-tapping, chair dancing, singing and boo-
gieing down to a great band and enjoying some fabu-
lous movies! This series is happily sponsored by Asso-
ciated Paving, CP Rankin, the Cuoci Family, East West
Karate, The Goddard School, Twining Construction, &
Warwick Grinders. There will be munchies and drinks
for sale. Popcorn will be available for the movies.
Saturday, June 29 “The Goonies” A family classic! A band or preteens who live in the
“Goon Docks” neighborhood or Astoria, Oregon at-
tempting to save their homes from demolition, and in
doing so, discover an old Spanish Map that leads them
on an adventure to unearth the long-lost fortune of
One-Eyed Willie, a legendary 17th century pirate.
Sunday, July 14 “Philly Rock and Soul” Formed in 2011, consisting of nine seasoned and
talented musicians. The band specializes in oldies from
1950s thru 1970s, emphasizing R&B, Soul, and Rock
genres. Our lineup is designed to evoke the sounds of
that special era, consisting of male and female lead
vocals, drums, bass, guitar, keyboard, trumpet, alto sax,
tenor sax and baritone sax. Several of the instrumen-
talists also sing backup or play hand percussion.
Saturday, July 27 “Wreck-It Ralph” Wreck-It Ralph longs to be as loved as his game’s
perfect Good Guy, Fit-It Felix. Problem is, nobody
loves a Bad Guy. But they do love hero’s...so when a
modern, first-person shooter games arrives featuring
tough-as-nails Sergeant, Ralph sees it as his ticket to
heroism and happiness. Ralph’s only hope? Vanellope
con Schweetz, a young trouble making “glitch” from a
candy-coated cart racing game who might just be the
one to teach Ralph what it means to be a Good Guy.
Saturday, August 10 “OZ the Great and Powerful” When Oscar Diggs, a small time circus magician
with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas
to the vibrant Land Of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jack-
pot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is
until he meets three witches, who are not convinced
he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting.
Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenui-
ty– and even a bit of wizardry—Oscar transforms him-
self not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz
but into a better man as well!
