Since the time of its founding, the Warriors had been playing as a founding member of Basketball Association of America. From 1946-62, it used Philadelphia Arena as its home arena, but it used another arena as well. It was from 1952-62 that it started to play in Philadelphia Convention Hall as well. It did not use both arenas anymore because Philadelphia Warriors relocated to the Bay Area in 1962.
