CAUTION Pregnant women, elderly persons, and
persons suffering from heart disease,diabetes or high or low blood pressureshould not enter the spa/hot tub withoutprior medical consultation andpermission from their doctor.
Do not use the spa/hot tub while underthe influence of alcohol , tranquilizers, orother drugs that cause drowsiness orthat raise or lower blood pressure.
Do not use at water temperatures greaterthan 104°F.
Do not use alone. Unsupervised use by children is
prohibited. Observe reasonable time limits (10 to 15
minutes), then leave the water and cooldown before returning for another briefstay.
Long exposure may result in nausea,dizziness, or fainting.

If your public swimming pool is not required to provide a lifeguard by rule, then youmust post the following signs so they are highly visible to all pool users:

Water Slides:
Single user.
Water slides. Only one user at a time is
permitted: forming “chains" isprohibited.
Recreation slides. Only one user shall
be on the platform at any time;

Users must exit the landing area of the slide
immediately;
Users shall ride feet first at all times;
stopping or changing position is prohibited;
The minimum user height shall be posted.
This measurement shall be the
manufacturer's recommendation or sixinches above the static water level of the
pool based on the depth of the public
swimming pool immediately beneath the
flume on the slide;
For speed slides, users shall remain flat; and
Life jackets or other flotation devices areprohibited other than those designed for theslide and used as directed by themanufacturer.
"No diving" signs:Must have letters a minimum of 4 inches in size orequivalent pictorial signage and shall be placedadjacent to depth markers along the deck of a publicswimming pool or special use pool at shallow areaswithin two feet of the water's edge or within sixinches of the back of the gutter. The signs shallhave slip resistant surfaces. The linear distancemeasured along the pool wall and across stairsetbacks between adjacent signs shall not begreater than twenty-five feet. "No diving" signs arenot required at wading pools or public spas.
Depth Marking: Depth of water of a public swimming pool, public spa, or
special use pool shall be plainly marked on the adjacentdeck surface within two feet of the edge of the water or withinsix inches of the back of the gutter. All depth markers shallhave slip resistant surfaces. The linear distance measuredalong the pool wall and across stair setbacks betweenadjacent markings shall not be greater than twenty-five feet.The depth of water at a public swimming pool or special usepool shall be marked at maximum and minimum points, at thepoints of break between the deep and shallow portions, andat intermediate points. A minimum of two depth markings perpublic spa or wading pool shall be provided
All depth markings shall consist of numerals reflecting thewater depth to the nearest six-inch or one-half foot incrementwith units indicated in letters. Depth marking numerals shallbe at least 4 inches in size and shall be of a color thatcontrasts with the background. Units of measure shall be inletters and feet and inches may be abbreviated FT and IN. Iftiles are used, the unit designation may be in smaller letters(one and one-quarter inches minimum) located in the upperright portion of the tile.
Special use pools with zero depth entrances shall have theentrance marked with a sign that says “zero depth.” Thereshall be a minimum of two markers and spacing shall notexceed twenty-five feet. Letters in the marker shall be at least4 inches high. All markers shall be slip resistant
