Wed 13th February Meet the Teacher Principal’s Message Dear Parents/Carers, Welcome to Term 1 Week 2 Welcome back to 2019. We hope you had an enjoyable festive season. We look forward to working with you during 2019. A special welcome to all new families to our school. Term Planner Parent /Carer Term Planner was given to every student today as a separate note. Voluntary Contribution for 2018 Money raised will go towards playground seating. Your support will be greatly appreciated. $20 per child or $50 per family.

Inflatable Sport Commences Friday 22nd February. Note to follow. Attendance Please ensure you send a written explanation or phone the school regarding student absences. You must justify all absences as soon as possible. Please see attached information regarding Department of Education and Communities Attendance Policy. Canteen Closure Due to unforeseen circumstances, the canteen will be closed until further notice. Apologies for any inconvenience. Parking Rules Just a short reminder of the parking rules.

• No stopping in our drop off point in the mornings

• No stopping or parking on corner of Leawarra/Pleasant Avenue.

• No stopping/parking in bus zone. • No parking in disabled spot unless you

have a disabled sticker. • You can park/stop in drop off point in the

afternoon only. • Please use crossing at all times.

SPORT NEWS EOI for all PSSA Trials Note due Friday 8th February Mid-South PSSA AFL Trial Register your interest with Mrs McLachlan by Friday morning. If there is a large number interested, the trial will be held at Shell Cove Public School on Wednesday 13th Feb, from 3.30pm - 4.30 pm. Mid-South PSSA Soccer Trial Date: Boys Wednesday Feb 27th 4-6pm Girls Thursday Feb 28th 4-5:30pm Venue: Shell Cove PS oval Cost: Nil Notes will be given to students who play soccer out of school and are interested in trying out. Please return them to Mrs McLachlan before Wednesday 22nd February. No late notes will be accepted. Wollongong High School of the Performing Arts The audition application for entry into Wollongong High school of the Performing Arts is now available online only, on the WHSPA website.
