Introductory Thoughts

Jesus had just finished his miraculous feeding of 5,000.

How many times do we feel helpless, ready to drown in a sea of troubles and cares.

Physically – Emotionally- Spiritually

As we travel the sea of life we need Jesus.

Jesus Came to Them

He came just when they needed Him.

Jesus will come to us in the midst of troubles.

By Faith Peter Did the Impossible

He Stepped out on Faith.

Philippians 4:13 – Matthew 17:20 – 1 John 5:4

God Wants Us to Step out on Faith to Do His Will.

Peter’s Faith Wavered

When he took his eyes off of Jesus.

We need to develop Paul’s attitude.

Our problems seem to become overwhelming when we take our eyes off of Jesus.

God has promised to help us.

Peter Cried for Help

He recognized his need for help.

He appealed to the right helper.

Concluding Thoughts

A young man’s snorkeling trip could have been disastrous.

Likewise our life will end in disaster if our hope is not on the correct rock.
