Day 1 Depart USA Depart the USA en route to Tel Aviv with complimentarymeals and beverages served in-flight.Day 2 Arrive Tel Aviv, Israel / Transfer to Herzlia Welcome to yourpilgrimage to Israel with West! Today, upon arrival at Tel Aviv airport, youwill be greeted by your Representative and transferred to your hotel. Yourhome away from home this evening is in Herzlia on the shores of theMediterranean Sea. You’ll enjoy dinner this evening at your hotel and havea chance to review your itinerary with your group leader and guide. Minglewith your fellow travelers and prepare for your pilgrimage walking in thefootsteps of Jesus! (D)Day 3 Herzlia / Caesarea / Muhraqa / Carmel / Tiberias Afterbreakfast at your hotel, we depart Herzlia to Caesarea, where St. Peterbaptized the first Gentile convert (Cornelius) and where St. Paul wasimprisoned. Continue to Muhraqa where the prophet Elijah set up his altarand triumphed over the false prophets of Ba’al. We will celebrate Masshere at the Carmelite Monastery of St. Elijah. Then we will venture along toMt. Carmel and the Chapel of Stella Mares before heading to Tiberias fordinner and your overnight stay. (B, D)Day 4 Tiberias - Sea of Galilee, Capernaum & Beatitudes The daybeckons with blessings starting with breakfast at your hotel followed by aboating adventure on the Sea of Galilee. Next, we will visit Capernaum, theHeptagon (Peter’s Primacy), and Tabgha to commemorate the miracle ofthe loaves and the fishes. We ascend by air-conditioned deluxe motor coachto the Mt. of Beatitudes for a panoramic view of the Sea of Galilee wherewe have the blissful opportunity to celebrate Mass. The day’s enrichingactivities continue with a visit to the Baptismal Site at the Jordan River wherewe will renew our baptismal vows before returning to Tiberias for the balanceof the day. Tonight you will share dinner with your fellow travelers and newfriends at your hotel in Tiberias. (B, D)Day 5 Tiberias / Cana / Mt. Tabor / Nazareth / Jerusalem The daybeckons with excitement and anticipation as we depart to Cana this morningto visit the place where Jesus performed his first miracle at the weddingfeast. Here we celebrate Mass and invite couples to renew their marriagevows. Then it’s on to Mt. Tabor, believed to be the site of the Transfiguration,when Jesus transfigured and became radiant in glory upon a mountain. Onfrom there, we continue to Nazareth where we will visit the Basilica of theAnnunciation for Mass at the Grotto. Then we will visit St. Joseph’sWorkshop, Mary’s Well, and the Chapel of Charles de Foucauld at the LittleSisters of the Poor and the Convent of the Sisters of Nazareth. This eveningwe will share dinner with our group in Jerusalem (B, D)Day 6 Jerusalem - Mt. Scopus & Mt. Of Olives The light of thisblessed morning brings new awakenings in spirituality as we begin the daywith Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. After Mass we will drivealong to Mt. Scopus and to the Mt. of Olives, where we can take-in apanoramic view of the old City of Jerusalem. Next on the packed day ofreligious adventuring, we will visit the Ascension Mosque, Pater Noster(commemorating the “Our Father”), Dominus Flavit (where Jesus wept overJerusalem), and the Church of All Nations in the Garden of Gethsemane.Take some time to explore and enjoy lunch on your own. Then we willcontinue onto the Church of St. Peter in Gallicanctu (where Peter denied

Christ), the House of Caiphas, the Church of the Dormition of Our Lady,and the Upper Room, commemorating the Last Supper. You may wish tovisit the Yad Vashem Memorial Museum, Israel’s largest Holocaustmemorial and museum. This evening we will enjoy dinner and an overnightstay our hotel in Jerusalem. (B, D)Day 7 Jerusalem - Excursion to Bethlehem, Ein Karem, Churchof Visitation After breakfast at our hotel we will head out to Bethlehemand celebrate Mass at Shepherds’ Field, before visiting the Church of theNativity, St. Jerome’s Chapel, and St. Catherine’s Church. On the returnto Jerusalem, we will stop in Ein Karem to visit the Church of St. John theBaptist and the Church of the Visitation. The balance of the day is yoursat leisure to explore Jerusalem and shop in the local markets. Tonight werequest a meeting with His Beatitude, Fouad Twal, the Latin Patriarch ofJerusalem. Later we will enjoy an included dinner at our hotel. (B, D)Day 8 Jerusalem - Excursion to Masada & Qumran Today’sspiritual journey begins with an early morning departure to Masada. Onour way, we will visit Jericho to view the Mount of Temptations and to seethe Zaccheus tree, a centuries-old sycamore tree that recalls the incidentin which the tax collector, who was too short to see over the crowd, climbeda sycamore’s branches in order to see Jesus. This city was the site ofJoshua’s first dramatic conquest. Here, we will also visit Qumran – famedas the hiding place of the Dead Sea Scrolls, the waterfalls of Ein Gedi,and the Dead Sea for an optional soak in these therapeutic waters, knownfor their curative benefits (bring your swimsuit). Arriving in Masada, weascend by cable car to view the rock-top fortress before returning toJerusalem. (B, D)Day 9 Jerusalem - Old City Tour / Depart to the USA Wake to thisglorious day and enjoy breakfast at your hotel before we head out toexplore the old city. We will enter through Stephen’s Gate and then visitthe Church of St. Anne that commemorates the birthplace of the BlessedMother, visiting as well the nearby Pools of Bethesda. On from there wewill proceed to the Chapel of the Flagellation where Jesus was scourgedby Roman soldiers before his journey to Calvary. Next we will walk in Jesus’footsteps, carrying the cross as we follow the Via Dolorosa (Stations of theCross). Later we will return to the Ecce Homo Arch and Lithostrotos wherewe celebrate Mass. The balance of the day will be shared in the Old Citywhere we will have time to visit the Dome of the Rock & Temple Mount(conditions permitting). This evening you will be transfered to Tel Avivairport for our return flight to the USA. Enjoy a farewell dinner with yourfellow pilgrims at a local restaurant. (B,D)Day 10 Arrive to the USA Today you arrive back to the USA. Meals andrefreshments served on board as per regular carrier service.
