Anzac “Tins of Love” As part of our ongoing commemoration of ANZAC Day and the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing, the PSMF would like school to send on our behalf a ‘Tin of Love’ to current serving members of our Armed forces, to show our recognition of the work they are doing far away from home and loved ones. If there is someone directly connected with your family who is serving overseas or far away from home, we would love you to apply to receive and send one of the tins. Students, (choir students or a particular class—preferable with choir members) would put in letters (handwritten would be nice!), something from our school (pen, sticker, glass, mug) and something with an Australian feel (Vegemite/Toy koala/Tim Tams etc.) Our tin has come with a sample pack of Anzac Biscuits, and a PSMF postcard to get us started. Please let Mr Hamdorf know the details of your family member serving overseas. If you would like any more information, please email or give me a call at the school.
