RIGHT TO PRIVACY

• Derives from Supreme Court’s opinion in Griswold v Connecticut.

• Director of CT’s Planned Parenthood League convicted for giving information on contraception to married persons under a state law prohibiting drugs or instruments preventing contraception.

• Court reversed the conviction based on privacy rights. .
