The hard corals, which make up the reef topography of Fury Shoals, are believed to be the one of best examples in the world. Throughout the entire Red Sea there is no comparable area blessed with the most extensive and remarkable coral forest.

For the Divers and Snorkelers, we offer the wrecks, drop-offs and ‘habilis’ (local word for unborn reefs) of the Fury Shoals and the local inshore reefs of Wadi Lahami.

Within the Fury Shoals, we dive approxi-mately 26 different offshore dive sites, which are reached by specially designed fast RIB (Ridged Inflatable Boat). This remote area still offers a sense of ex-ploration and discovery. Our offshore package includes 4 dives per day : two morning guided dives, one afternoon dive and one night dive.

Diving ProgramsWadi Lahami Village

Wadi Lahami is a secluded village in the Red Sea’s “deep south”. This destination is for the true explorer featuring an almost completely emp-ty coastline, except for the occasional mangrove and herds of grazing camels. Lahami is definitely one Egypt’s last frontiers and an extremely valuable natural resource. Every diver should visit Lahami once in their life and explore the world-class Fury Shoals; the most pristine dive sites in the whole of the Red Sea. The hard corals of this enormous reef complex are believed to be one of the best examples worldwide.

Tent: standard twin occupancy tent with single bed and electricity outlet. Communal bathroom facilities are in the vicinity.

Royal Tent: large twin occupancy tents with either single or king size bed. Royal tents include a fan, mini-bar, and seating area both inside and outside. Communal bathroom facilities are in the vicinity.

Chalet: twin occupancy guest rooms. Chalets are modernly furnished with bathroom facili-ties and also feature a terrace with seating area.

Reefs and Marine life

These offshore chain-reefs are filled with very rich marine life. Pelagic fishes, such as jacks, tuna, sharks and rays are cruising visitors as well as Spinner Dolphins in Satayah.

Kite Surfing: We have a small station that can accomodate beginnersor experienced Kiters with own equip- ment. We offer equipment storage and emergency service for kiters. Guests wishing to take kite surfing lessons or rent equipment can visit our partner Kite Village just 5 minutes north of us. A shuttle bus picks up guests everymorning or afternoon.i

Snorkeling: We offer snorkeling excursions to Satayah Reef to see Spin- ner Dolphins. Snorkelers can also join divers during the morning andafternoon dives

Bird Watching: Wadi Lahami has recently become very popular with bird watchers due to manydifferent species being ob- served in the neighboring mangroves. These include the osprey, white heron, night heron, striated heronand sometimes the spoon-bill. The sooty falcon is com- mon in the summer as well

as the white-eyed gull, and the white-cheeked and caspian tern. In fall and spring thousands of small birds like swallows, stonechats, pipits,wagtails and kingfisher can be seen

If you would like to know how the Red Sea corals looked like 20 years ago, a dive trip to the Fury Shoals will show you just that. Everybody privileged to dive here knows that this reef topography can’t be seen anywhere else in the world. The Fury Shoals can only be described as a labyrinth of sheer coral canyons. Some of the dive sites here are like a maze that you can easily become lost in if you are not careful. The Fury Shoals reef complex covers an area of approximately 60 square kilo-meters and there are over 25 different sites spread out over this area.
