Using the Pen Buttons (side switch) The pen has a “rocking” switch by the forefinger. The switch can be used whenever the pen is within approximately ½ inch of the tablet active area. It is not necessary to touch the pen tip to the tablet in order to use the switch. The default switch positions are:

• Upper: Double Click. Press to double click. This is easier than tapping twice with the pen.

• Lower: Right Click. Press to right click which brings up menus. The defaults can be changed in the Wacom Tablet Properties (see below).

Using Touch The touch features of your Intuos enables you to control a computer using only your fingertips on the tablet surface. To enable touch, slide the toggle switch on the very top right of the tablet. Use gestures to scroll, zoom, rotate and perform other functions. (See the Standard Gestures tab in the Wacom Tablet Properties below to set defaults.)

Using the Express Keys You can use the Express Keys to:

• Set a key to a commonly used keyboard shortcut • Set a key to launch a commonly used file or application • If you prefer not to use the side switches on the Pen, set a key to right or

double click. • Or choose from any other available function in the software.

Tip: The defaults can be changed in the Wacom Tablet Properties (see below).
