Messe Frankfurt has once again chosen WTiN – the publisher of Future Textiles magazine – to produce Techtextil/Texprocess News. Zwei Leitmessen für mehr SynergienSehr geehrte Besucher der Texprocess,

bereits zum dritten Mal findet parallel zur Texprocess die Techtextil statt. Warum lohnt sich für Sie in diesem Jahr mehr denn je ein Besuch der Techtextil? Weil der Markt für technische Textilien und Vliesstoffe kontinuierlich wächst – und mit ihm sich die maschinellen Verarbeitungsmöglichkeiten und -herausforderungen unablässig ändern.

Im Jahr 1986 gründete die Messe Frankfurt die Techtextil als führende Plattform für Anbieter technischer Textilprodukte. Schon damals bestand das Angebot nicht ausschließlich darin, unterschiedliche Fasern, Filamente und textile Flächengebilde zu präsentieren. Gemeinsam mit den Forschungsinstituten war der Blick von Beginn an auf die gesamte Bandbreite möglicher Anwendungsgebiete für Textilien und Vliesstoffe gerichtet. Die Aussteller der Techtextil sind deshalb seit jeher auf der Suche nach (neuen) Märkten und Marken, um ihre Produkte kontinuierlich für neue Anwendungen und Anwendungsbereiche weiterzuentwickeln. Doch: Es waren vor allem auch die zahlreichen Technologien zur Weiterverarbeitung, die einen

entscheidenden Anteil an dieser positiven Entwicklung hatten. Der heutige Erfolg beispielsweise von Aramid- und Glasfasern, Polyacrylnitril bzw. Kohlenstofffasern wäre ohne die zur (Weiter)Verarbeitung nötigen Nadeln, Garne, Füge- und Trenntechniken nicht denkbar.
