JUDGING CRITERIA FILM CATEGORY

The submission consists of:

• A video or series of videos with total length not exceed 60 seconds. Only one video file with maximum file size 100MB is accepted. The video is in MP4 format or MOV format.

• (Optional) A paragraph of maximum 500 words in English describing in the creative idea, pasted in the textbox in Vietnam Young Lions’ submission link.

1. The idea - 50%: This is not a film craft completion. This is an idea competition. The idea should be fresh, talk to the target audience and make them pay attention. 2. The execution - 50%: The main focus is the storytelling skill and the idea expression through video execution. Art direction and production values (the lighting, scenery, props, sound effects, creative editing and post-production to elevate your ideas) may gain extra points, but they will not be the primary aspect the judges are looking for.
