PRIOR TO THE INSTALLATION OF EQUIPMENT:

CLEANING PROCESS:
Please note• Always switch the unit off at themain electrical supply, duringmaintenance and
cleaning.
• Unplugtheunitfromthewallsocket.
• Cleantheunitwhileitisstillwarm,itiseasiertoremovedirt.
• Useonlywarmsoapywaterandasoftclothwhencleaningtheunit.
• Neverusesteelwool,sodaoranyotherharshabrasivesforcleaning.
• Donothosetheunitdown.
• Donotforcefoodparticlesintothedrainoffpipeasitwillcauseblockages.
TROUBLE SHOOTING:

INSTALLATION:
1) Before leaving the factory, the unit has been fully assembled and undergone finaltests.
2) Remove plastic material protecting the panels.
3) Clean the wells out thoroughly using water only.
4) Leveltheunitusingtheflooradjustersandcheckwithaspiritlevel.Fillwellsupwithwater prior to turning unit on.
5) Turn the unit on to burn off any factory residues. nB!! not without water. During this operation smoke may be emitted from the unit.
6) The unit is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
7) Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
PLEASE NOTE8) The installation of the equipment must be done by a qualified registered
technician all in compliance with statutory Health and Safety Regulations.

OPERATION:
1) fill the unit before switching on or plugging in. fill the well with water until the element is covered.DONOTuseasadrywell bainmarieas theunit is fittedwithwaterimmersion elements.
2) Plug the unit into the wall socket and switch on.
3) Switch the unit on by turning the thermostat dial clockwise to the required temperature.The thermostat indicator lamp will illuminate and then switch off when the required temperature is reached.
4) Place the Gastronorm inserts into the well and the unit is now ready for use.

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE:
1) Do a routine check on the general appearance.
2) Check that no screws and nuts have worked themselves loose.
3) Check the condition of the supply cable and plug.
4) Check that the elements, pilot light and drain tap are working correctly.
5) It may be necessary to descale the well and element every four months depending on the hardness of the water in your area.
6) Check the well for water leaks.
7) Check the condition of the element seal and drain gasket.
8) Check all electrical connections.
