VOXOS: Epic Virtual ChoirInstallation instructions for Mac OS X & Windows

Mac OS X

1. Move the UnRarX file to your Applications folder. If you already have a utility that can extract .rar files, such as BetterZip, you can use that instead.

2. Launch UnRarX. From the drop down menu next to Extract to: choose a location where the VOXOS library is to be installed.

3. Drag the file VOXOS.part1.rar onto the UnRarX window. This will begin extracting the files from parts 1-5 to the chosen location, so this action only needs to be done once.

4. Once the files have been extracted, there will be a folder named VOXOS in the chosen location. This folder contains a folder of demonstration videos, a folder with Kontakt Player 4 installers for Mac and Windows, and the VOXOS Library folder.

5. If you already have a full version of Kontakt 4 or Kontakt Player 4, you can skip to step 6. If you do not have a version of Kontakt already installed, launch the Kontakt 4 Installer Mac.mpkg and follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation.

6. Launch Kontakt 4, then click on the Libraries tab from the Kontakt browser on the left side of the Kontakt interface. Just below Libraries, click on Add Library. A Locate Folder window will appear. Navigate to the VOXOS Library folder, highlight it, then click choose. VOXOS should now appear in Kontakts library browser. Quit Kontakt.

7. Launch the NI Service Center application to register your VOXOS serial number.

Windows

1. Please go to http://www.winrar.de to download WinRar. If you already have a utility that can extract .rar files, you can use that instead.

2. Right click on the file VOXOS.part1, then choose Extract Files... This will open an Extraction path and options window.

3. From the Destination Path drop down menu, choose the location where the VOXOS library should be installed. Next, Click OK. This will begin extracting the files from parts 1-5 to the chosen location, so this action only needs to be done once.

4. Once the files have been extracted, there will be a folder named VOXOS in the chosen location. This folder contains a folder of demonstration videos, a folder with Kontakt Player 4 installers for Mac and Windows, and the VOXOS Library folder.

5. If you already have a full version of Kontakt 4 or Kontakt Player 4, you can skip to step 6. If you do not have a version of Kontakt already installed, launch the Kontakt Player 4 4.1.1 Setup.exe and follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation.

6. Launch Kontakt 4, then click on the Libraries tab from the Kontakt browser on the left side of the Kontakt interface. Just below Libraries, click on Add Library. A Locate Folder window will appear. Navigate to the VOXOS Library folder, highlight it, then click choose. VOXOS should now appear in Kontakts library browser. Quit Kontakt
