'In No Control'

PAGE ONE

One

Establishing shot. High-school room. An young sick

alien girl named Mala is lying on a desk while an

older man named Temple is looking down on her

with no answers. There's a blue mark on Mala's

thumb.

Two

A teacher looks in from the doorway.

TEACHER

How is Mala feeling?

TEMPLE

I can't tell.

Three

Temple places her hand on Mala's shoulder.

TEMPLE

Her biometerics are fine. According

to her suit, she's perfectly

heathly.

Four

Close in on Mala. Her foot falls off, bouncing on

the floor. In the background, the teacher looksshocked.

TEACHER

But she's not. Look at her.

Five

The teacher looks into another room where class

room full of students are all staring right into a

flashing light. There's a blue package lying on

her desk.

Six



Temple to the right, up close to us with Mala in

the center of the panel and the teacher in the

background. Temple is looking at his thumb, which

has a blue mark on it.

TEACHERYou don't think it's because

Plararox?

TEMPLE

It can't be, that would mean...

Seven

Bottom panel. Doing an 180 from panel six and

looking from behind the teacher instead. She's

looking down on her thumb, which also has a bluemark on it. Temple is looking directly at the

teacher.

TEACHER

I need to contact all of my mating

partners right away.

TEMPLE

Don't!

TEMPLEWe need to talk to Endman first.

TEMPLE

He'll know what to do. This was

his plan after all.

One

Desert. Going back to the gang. Standing a bit

away. Thomas is on the ground, seeing millons of

circles while Kendra is on her kness next to him

and Helena and Kurt are standing close. A jeep in

the background.

THOMAS

Make it stop! Make it stop!



KENDRA

It's a feedback loop. The info

packages are going around in

his head. They're stuck.

Two

Kendra places both her hand on his chest.

KENDRA

Stupid pinks. Don't you know

there's settings? I'm already

late for the beach.

THOMAS

The—The-The Ravengard is

happening at top five, dash-dash Q, M Twelve.

KENDRA

Breaking the suit.

Three

Thomas suits goes dark. Kendra lets go him. Thomas

is relived and sighs. Kendra is smiling.

THOMAS

Oh thank you, thank you. It's

gone.

KENDRA

And it wasn't a complete waste,

now I know where the Ravengard

is at.

Four

Kendra has gotten on her feet, running towards a

lake behind the house as the rest watch her in the

background, utterly confused. A light has appeared

on Helena's hand, but she doesn't notice it.

KENDRA

Toodles!

Five

Moving in on Helena. And suddenly, she's wearingthe same dress.



HELENA

I like that dress.

Six

Back up, all the characters are in frame. Thomas

is getting on his feet.

HELENA

Changing. It's all about changing,

every single aspect. Constantly

changing.

PAGE TWO

One

Thomas looks at his dark suit. A oval logo appearson his chest.

THOMAS

Is mine broken now or...

Two

Focusing on all the characters again. Kurt is

walking right at them. Thomas suit has turned

completely blue.

VOICE

Celebrating Blue Day.

KURT

All Lemniscate employess will

be wearing the standard red

uniform.

Three

Close in on Kurt. He places his hands on theirshoulders.

Thomas and Helena's suit slowly turns red.

KURT

You are visitors to this world,

NOT it's citizens.

KURT

Where is Don?

Four

The pole in the background. Kurt is walking to it,



looking at Thomas and Helena.

HELENA

He was too afraid to grab the

pole.

KURTEvery time! These goodamn

rookie.

KURT

You two an go ahead. Find the

N-Zon. The rest is already

set.

Five

Close in on Kurt. He's standing just next to thepole, about to grab on to it. He has a stupid

smile on his face.

KURT

Understand?

Six

Standing behind Thomas and Helena as they're

looking at each other while looking at Kurt, who's

dissappeared before they could reply.

THOMAS

I'm driving.

HELENA

Only if you're prepared to hit

a girl.

PAGE THREE

One

Don is staring at the pole, too afraid to grab on

to it as Kurt appears from it.

KURT

Aw shit! Not this too!

DON

I'm sorry. I've already had one

heart attack. I just can't.

Two



Close in on Kurt.

KURT

No. Not that. I was just informed

about sick school girl. They

suspect Plararox.

Three

Close in on Don, but pieces of Kurt are in the

panel.

KURT

Don. This is why I hired you

when no else would. I need to

know

KURT

Can you still do your job?

Four

Flashy-backy time. Moving to completely different

location. A ordinary hospital. Don is standing

just outside a door, reading some papers. A

colluege of his is in the background, walking to

him.

COLLUEGE

Ha! I know that look. You'reabout to tell someone good

news.

DON

Maybe.

COLLEUGE

Can I come?

Five

Hospital room. A sick twenty-seven year old man is

lying in a bed to the left as Don and the colleuge

walk into to the left.

DON

Mr. Kent Tilt, 27, the cancer

has...

KENT

Yeah, yeah, doc, heard it

a milion times. You gotanything new?



Six

Close in on Don, who's since the start of this

comic has never looked more happy. Kent is

relived.

DONWe found you a pair of lungs.

You're schelude for tommorrow.

KENT

Oh thank you! thank you.

Seven

Moving around.

DON

I figured you wanted to talk to

your family yourself so I called

them. They'll be here soon.

KENT

You're the best, doc, the absolute

best!

One

Moving back to Don and Kurt. Don is nodding.

DON

Yeah, yeah. I can.

KURT

That's all I need to know.

Two

Kurt takes a step away. Don is in the background,

looking at him.

KURT

This is the Lemniscate Foundation,

we have a conflict on the rise,need assistance. Send Posspullates.



KURT

You better read up the girl's

history. We'll be there in three

minutes.

Three

In the desert. The jeep is driving through the

sand. Helena is driving while Thomas sours in the

passenger seat.

THOMAS

Look at you! Always such a bore

behind the wheel.

HELENA

I'm going as fast as I can.

THOMAS

Then change the directions.

Four

Sitting in the back of the jeep, looking forward

at Thomas and Helena.

HELENA

What?

THOMAS

Let me help.

Five

Moving around. Thomas lays his hand on Helena's

shoulder.

HELENA

What are you doing?

THOMAS

I'm helping your. Changing the

direction on your suit.

THOMAS

And activating it for off road. It's

calcuating the surface on the

sand so you can drive as dangerously

as you want without getting

hurt.

Six



Close in on Thomas and Helena. Helena tightens her

grip around the steering wheel.

THOMAS

Y'know, for fun.

THOMAS

Remember. Don't think. Just act.

It's all about instinct.

PAGE FIVE

One

Moving way back and looking at the jeep. It's

driving right at a sand hill.

Two

The jeep drives of the edge of sand hill and flies

through the air.

Three

The jeep lands safely and drives forward. In the

background are the huge thin blue buildings.

THOMASMy turn.

Four

We're high in the air. A wire is hanging across

the panel and a dark spaceship is hanging on it.

The grips on the wire are being released.

Five

The ship has made a landing and Thomas and Kurt

walks out of it. In the background is the school

building.

Six

Mala is lying on the desk, very sick. Temple has

placed a devide on her forehead. Don and Kurt

walks in.

KURT

We're from the Lemniscate



Foundation.

TEMPLE

I suspected you pinks would

show up. She's hasn't shown

any improvement.

DON

What did you do?

PAGE SIX

One

Close in on Don and Mala. Don looks at her,

worried for her well-being.

TEMPLE (O.P)I put her in forced hybernation

to ease her pain.

DON

Bad idea. We need to wake her up

again.

TEMPLE

What? The pain is too much for

such a fragile mind.

Two

Don is looking directly at Temple.

DON

Do it. We need her to tell us

where it hurts.

Three

With the foot, lying in box of ice in the centerof the panel and Temple looking directly at it, he

places the device on her head.

Four

The jeep drives into the city. Thomas is driving

as Helena is looking at all the blue buildings.

THOMAS

It feels like I'm driving. It

even feels like I know whereI'm going.



THOMAS

But I don't. I mean, how could

I?

Five

Helena's back in the center of the panel and allthe buildings in the backgroun.

HELENA

Wow. Will you look at this

articture? All the buldings

are connected.

HELENA

Focusing on functionality instead

of style. Such a diverse species.

Six

Thomas is looking at the screen as sun light

reflects right in his eyes.

THOMAS

And the windows are designed to

harness sun light. They're charging

themselves.

HELENAIt's absolutely

THOMAS

Fascinating.

Seven

Close in on Thomas and Helena as they look at each

other and smile a little.

PAGE SEVEN

One

The jeep makes a sudden stop. Thomas is pointing

up.

HELENA

Why did you stop?

THOMAS

I didn't.

Two



A shot of another building. But this one has a

logo that reads 'N-Zon'

Three

A long empty hallway. To the right are Thomas andHelena as they walk in through a door.

WOMAN (O.P)

HA-HA-HA-HA!

Four

The two walk down the hallway.

WOMAN (O.P)

Yes, yes, I heard. It's the

sixth one to forget the setting.

Five

Thomas and Helena walk up to an alien woman

sitting behind a window. A light is flashing in

her eyes.

WOMAN

I guess it's true what they

say about pin...

THOMAS

Excuse me.

Six

Close on the alien woman, she seems embarressed.

WOMAN

L-Lemniscate? Down the hall,

to the point.

THOMAS

Thanks.

WOMAN

(laughing)

What? No, I didn't. I didn't!

Seven

As Thomas walks away, Helena looks closer on the

woman, who's looking back at Helena.

HELENA



Who are you talking to?

WOMAN

Everyone.

PAGE EIGHT

One

Another large room. Thomas and Helena walk in. A

bunch of aliens are hung up in wires and a woman

named Loov is walking around, checking up on all

of them.

LOOV

Just one more push.

Two

A shock of electricty goes through everyone in the

wires. Loov notices Thomas in Helena in the

background.

LOOV

Good! Now can rest.

Three

Loov makes eye-contact with the two.

LOOV

Rookies!

Four

They walk over to her. Thomas is looking as the

wires let go of all the people

HELENA

Someone has met Kurt.

LOOV

Yes, that kind man has visit

this N-Zon may times.

THOMAS

What is all of this? What are

you doing here?

Five

Close in on Loov.

LOOV



I'm just helping them train

their under-developed muscles.

LOOV

It's a very common disorder

for us in a certain age.

LOOV

It's this way.

Six

The backside of the hospital. The three walk to a

huge white circle in the ground. The circle is

filled with blue packages.

THOMAS

We better bring the car around.

LOOV

Why?

PAGE NINE

One

Close in on Thomas, Loov and all the packages.

THOMASSo we won't have to carry them

so far?

LOOV

Oh, you silly little hairy thing.

Two

Loov has picked up a small device that Thomas and

Helena are looking at very intrested. She'spressing a button and in the background, the

packages being floating in the air.

LOOV

Where did you park your jeep?

Three

The jeep in the center of the panel and three have

just walked out of the N-Zon. All the packages are

floating with them.



Four

All the packages lands safely in the back of the

jeep as Thomas and Helena sits down. Thomas is

driving. Loov walks up to Thomas and places her

hand on his shoulder.

LOOV

This is the current list of

spots. I'm sending you to

Ravengard first, that oughta

give you an idea.

HELENA

(quitely)

Oughta?

THOMASOf what?

Five

Close in on Loov.

LOOV

Why we built this city.

LOOV

Good luck.

Six

The jeep drives away. Thomas looks at Loov and

waves but she just looks confused back at him.

PAGE TEN

One

Don and Temple are standing just next to the girlas Temple places the device on her forehead.

DON

What's her name?

TEMPLE

Mala.

Two

Mala wakes up. Her whole face tells us that she's

in the worst pain imaginable. Don places his hand



on her shoulder.

MALA

What is happening? What are you

doing to me?

DONMala. I need you to talk fast.

DON

Where does it hurt?

Three

Moving around.

MALA

Everywhere? It's hurting everywhere,it feels like my whole body is

on fire.

DON

Be specific!

Four

Mala is holding her hand on her stomach. Don is

looking at Temple. It seems like he has an idea.

MALA

My stomach. It's coming from

my stomach.

DON

Alright, put her to sleep again.

DON

Quickly!

Five

Temple places the device on her head agian. Kurt

looks at Don.

KURT

What is it? It is Plararox?

DON

No, it's something else.

Six

Close in Don.



DON

All her readings are fine. Her

hearbeat, her lungs, her stomach,

the suit is telling me she's

perfectly healthy.

DON

So whatever it is, it's not

Plararox cause the suit is

programmed to detect the

drug.

KURT

Then what?

Seven

A view of the whole room. A group is walking in

through the door.

DON

I don't know, but we need to

move her to an N-Zon now, if

it's an infection, then all

the students here are in

danger.

KURT

I'll call for an Posspulates.

Eight

Kurt is talking a step way, he notices the group.

KURT
