Greetings
Summer has passed, and now the quaint, colorful, and brisk Fall season is among us. The Lodge has been busy with activities throughout the month, and the momentum is sure to continue. I want to thank everyone for their contributions. The Lodge is only as successful as our member's support through time, talent, and patronage. This month, Sunday breakfast returned and is quickly generating a crowd on Sunday mornings. We thank the volunteers that prepare and serve food for our members, family, and friends. We initiated 25 new members into Glastonbury Elks Lodge 2202. We welcome all of you and are excited that you have joined our Fraternal Organization. I'd ask that any new member find an Activity or Committee they enjoy and find a way to help support the efforts. We were also well represented at our Connecticut Elks Association, Grand Exalted Ruler visit at the Westbrook Elks Lodge #1784. I appreciate our members that took their evening to be available to meet and greet T.

Bill and the participants offer a friendly and welcoming environment. On October 23, 2021, the annual 'Prime Rib Dinner' and 'Ready Up Raffle' will be hosted by the Range Committee. Our Lodge will conduct a yearly Audit on October 20, 2021, and host our District Deputy visit on October 27, 2021. We will wrap the month on Saturday, October 30, by hosting our First 'Trunk or Treat Event,' providing a fun and safe environment for children to celebrate Halloween. We are still looking for volunteers. Additional information will be provided in the Upstart. As we move forward with our activities, events, and National Programs, I must remind us all that the safety of our Members & Guest at the Lodge is our top priority. We have established and maintained protocols to
