ARSS Infrastructure, a leading Indian
infrastructure company has partnered
Jakson for its various highway and road
construction projects in the country.
The company will use Jakson DG sets

multiple DG sets across LHP & MHP

ITC Group, one of India’s leading
hospitality chains awarded Jakson the
mandate for providing power back-up
solutions for its upcoming hotel in
Kolkata, India. Scope of work for the
project includes complete supply,
installation, testing and commissioning
(SITC) of DG sets at the hotel site. Three
HHP DG sets of 2000 KVa each will be
installed by Jakson at project site to
provide the requisite power back-up for
the hotel. This order is currently under
execution and is expected to be
completed next quarter.
ITC group partners Jakson for its new hotel in Kolkata
Jakson has been awarded a prestigious
project by the Government of Odisha to
repower its upcoming IT incubation centre in
Patia, Odisha. The Odisha IT incubation
center is a part of Patia Infocity project, being
developed by the state government as an IT
hub of the future. Jakson will provide two
1500 KVa DG sets to power this incubation
center with uninterrupted electricity.

Jakson has bagged an order from Palpa Cements, Nepal to
provide DG powering solutions for its upcoming cement
plant in Nepal. The order consists of six 1500 KVA, HHP sets
including installation and commissioning. Jakson was
awarded this high value project after stiff competition from
various players.

BUSINESS UPDATES
Jakson bagged sizeable orders from leading
real estate groups in the past quarter. These
include prestigious brands like Panchsheel
Buildtech, Supertech Group, MI Builders, SMR
Builders amongst others. The size of orders
from this sector exceeded 100 units across
LHP, MHP & HHP DG sets. The sector is
expected to grow in the coming months with
overall revival in the real estate sector.

Jakson successfully organized a 60 day roadshow across three states in India - Uttarakhand, West
Bengal and Telangana to promote its silent DG sets. The three road shows covered an approx. distance of
10000 kms and was greeted with a lot of interest by potential customers and members of the public.
Jakson was awarded for achieving highest Net Promoter Score for Customer satisfaction in Nepal
territory. The award was received by Gagan Chanana, Director - Powergen & Distribution Business, and
Rajiv Hooda, Vice President, Jakson, at a special ceremony organized by Cummins.

Jakson has bagged a project for

Memorial hospital in Vizag,
Andhra Pradesh. The scope of
work for the project includes
supply of six HHP 750 KVA DG
sets, installation, LT panels & bus
duct trunking and civil work
related to setting up of DG room.
Jakson-Cummins roadshow in three states
IOCL petrol pump rooftop installations crosses century mark
Jakson successfully completed installation of
rooftop solar power plants at more than 100
Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) petrol
pumps across Indian states of Uttar Pradesh,
Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Odisha and Madhya
Pradesh. In addition, Jakson has been partnered
to execute similar installations at IOCL petrol
pumps in East, West and Southern states of India.
Jakson in partnership with its local distributor,
M/s Mahira Ltd successfully installed on-grid
rooftop solar power packs at over 100 residential
buildings across the Indian city of Chandigarh.
Ranging from 5 KW to 15 KW, these household
solar systems plants will help reduce electricity
costs for installers as well as contribute to a
greener environment.

Jakson successfully installed an 80 KW rooftop solar
power plant at Ivy World School, Jalandhar, Punjab. The
project was executed through its local partner M/S Vij
Brothers, based in Jalandhar. The plant will generate
sufficient electricity for the school to run its operations.
Provisions have been made to supply excess electricity
to the grid through net metering facility.

Jakson installed a 20 KW on-grid rooftop
solar power plant at a Tata Steel training
center facility located within its plant at
Jajpur, Odisha. The rooftop plant will help
generate electricity for running the
operations of the training facility. The
complete plant has been installed using
Jakson on-grid solar power packs.

Jakson wins five solar rooftop projects in Assam
Jakson has received orders for executing
5 solar rooftop projects in Assam totalling
130 KW under the new solar policy of
Assam Energy Development Agency
(AEDA). The five different sites include
residential and educational institutes
across Guwahati, the largest city in Assam.

Electrification project for a residential complex in Noida
Electrical EPC project for IOCL Depot in Karnataka
Great Value Projects India Limited, a leading real
estate developer in North India engaged the
services of Jakson for executing turnkey external
electrification work for a residential project -
Sharanam - located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Scope of work for the project included installation
of main HT panel and capacitor panels, rising
main and floor panels, transformers, HT, LT and
control cables, earthing, installation of DG sets
and other related electrical works. The project
was executed and delivered to client as per
requirements on time.
Jakson successfully completed an electrical EPC
project for Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) at
one of its depots located in Devanagonthi, near
Bangalore in Karnataka, India. Scope of work for
the project included upgradation of existing
electrical systems; supply, installation, testing and
commissioning (SITC) of HT Panels, transformers,
DG sets, LT switch gears, high mast cables and
other related electrical works.

Jakson wins 'Saubhagya' projects in two districts of Uttar Pradesh
Purvanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited, a state utility in Uttar Pradesh has awarded a prestigious rural
electrification project to Jakson in the districts of Kushinagar & Maharajganj in Uttar Pradesh under the
Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana (Saubhagya) program. Saubhagya is a flagship Government
of India scheme aimed at electrification of the entire country including electricity connection for
households.
Jakson has bagged a large scale underground cabling project for Vishakhapatnam city from the
Eastern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh Limited (EPDCAL), Government of Andhra
Praesh. Scope of work for the project includes supply, installation, testing and commissioning (SITC) of
underground power cable network; replacement of existing 33 KV/11 KV/LT overhead power
distribution network and construction of 33/11 KV sub-stations.
Jakson supplied advanced power shelter equipment to Electronics Research Development
Establishment (LRDE), Bengaluru for running RADAR Operations. The equipment is currently undergoing
regular tests at National Centre for Automotive Testing (NCAT), VRDE, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra.

Dhanush is an indigenous self-propelled gun being manufactured in India by Gun Carriage Factory,
Jabalpur. Jakson has designed the power-pack for this artillery gun. Four systems have been supplied
and currently field trials are in progress.

recently appointed Varun Mathur as a Senior
Accounts Executive in the Finance Department.
Varun is a Masters in Commerce with five years of
work experience.

Vikas Arya, GM – Solar Sales made a presentation to delegates at a CII event on Promoting Energy
Efficiency and Renewable Energy for MSME clusters in India. The event was organized in Jalandhar by

Mother's Day was celebrated at Jakson to recognise and honour the mother in every family, motherhood
and the influence of mothers on society. Akin to superhuman abilities like Superman, we tagged all
mothers at Jakson as SUPERMOMS for their immense sacrifice and selfless service.
Exemplifying excellent teamwork and efficient
coordination, the HR department succeeded in
timely disbursal of the appraisal & increments
letters to its employees. Although the prime
responsibility was with the PMS team and the
C&B team, everyone in the department chipped in
and contributed towards this goal.
MANUFACTURINGUPDATES
The solar module manufacturing plant at
Greater Noida was recently renovated. The
objective of this exercise was to further
streamline the entire manufacturing process
of solar modules, in-line with industry best
practices. The entire floor of the plant has been
surfaced with epoxy resin to eliminate
presence of dust in the assembly of modules.
The plant has been fully-air-conditioned and
completely repainted. This renovation activity
will help improve quality and also boost
productivity at the plant.

In line with its philosophy of providing inclusive
growth opportunities for specially-abled persons,
Jakson supported a run-for-cause event, 'Tarey'
organized by Dr Lal Singh Foundation on April 8,
2018 in New Delhi. The run was organized to
showcase the talent and will power of specially-
abled people and to encourage them to follow their
dreams.

Jakson adopted a model school in Phaltan,
Maharashtra and upgraded i ts exist ing
infrastructure by adding two new classrooms and
renovating its existing infrastructure. Jakson also
built drinking water facilities and toilets in the
school which were not present earlier. The school
currently has 120 students from Standard VII to X.
The school administration is confident that the
infrastructure upgrade will attract more students
from the community to attend the school.

To work for the development of marginal
communities, Jakson Group launched two Early
Learning Centres (ELC) at Kasna in Greater Noida,
Uttar Pradesh and Kalsar, Gujarat. ELC is a day care
facility for children aged between 2-8 years and has
been set up to provide opportunities to learn, play
and grow to children from BPL (below-poverty-line)
families. Trained teachers and assistants have
been taken on board to provide quality education to
these children. Both the ELCs will give preference
to girl child in-line with Government of India
initiative of ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padao’.

Deepening of a village lake in Kalsar
Jakson undertook a lake deepening project in Kalsar, Gujarat
as part of its commitment towards various environmental
initiatives. The lake which serves as a critical life-line for
villagers in the area for drinking water and agriculture, used to
dry up during droughts. The lake deepening project will not
only ensure availability of water all-year round but also help
restore the eco-system of the area.
Jakson supports EKAL Vidyalayas
Jakson has pledged support to Bharat Lok Shiksha
Parishad to adopt 50 Ekal Vidyalayas in Uttar
Pradesh. Ekal Vidyalaya is a movement involved in
integrated & holistic development of rural & tribal
India. Apart from functional literacy, Ekal education
centers spread awareness on health and hygiene,
empowerment, vocational skill development,
computer literacy, and endeavour to inculcate
ethical and moral values in children.

Jakson in partnership with Cummins organized a CSR
activity at Early Learning Centre, Kasna. Employees from
both organizations spent time with the children to teach
them general subjects, good habits along with a small
session on introduction to computers. Stimulating fun
and games were also organized to encourage the
children to perform and take part in craft activities, which
was followed by gifts and rewards.

Environment Day, Jaksonites at
Kolkata office organized a cleanliness
drive in the city. The objective was to
clean the city of plastic in line with
2018 World Environment Day theme
of 'Beat Plastic Pollution'.
On the occasion of World Environment Day,
a tree-plantation drive was organized at
various Jakson offices and manufacturing
facilities across the country. Mr Satish
Kumar Gupta, Chairman Emeritus, Jakson
Group graced the occas ion at the
company’s solar module manufacturing
facility in Greater Noida. About 100 saplings
were planted across various locations in the
country. The drive witnessed active
participation of Jaksonites and members of
the senior management team.
