VOLCANES COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROJECT

• Program started 2011

• To offer English and computer classes to children of Colonia Volcanes

• From 80 students in grades 3 through 6, now 250 students from grades 3 through 9

• Old abandoned school building completely renovated

• Computer classroom with 20 new laptops and internet

• 2 English classrooms with large TV with computer and cameras

• And the new library

The old abandoned school building is renovated with the help of Café Roma, Ft. Hays State Univeristy in Kansas and the moms of the Parents
