About SeMA
It holds special exhibitions with works by Korean artists representing different
generations, such as the SeMA Blue Exhibition of young Korean artists, SeMA Gold
Exhibition of leading artists and SeMA Green Exhibition of veteran artists.
The museum organizes the Seoul International Media Art Biennale, special exhibitions
of foreign artists in exchange with major foreign museums and international exhibitions
to introduce current trends in the global art scene.
Its location in Jeongdong-gil, a site of great cultural and historical significance in
downtown Seoul, helps visitors to enjoy a romantic historical environment and artistic
satisfaction.

Museum Library: The library with a wide variety of collections related to fine arts
including books, catalogs and DVDs is open to the public.
Cafeteria: Visitors can enjoy snacks, beverages and music at the museum cafeteria that
also presents a magnificent view.
Art Shop: It displays and sells various cultural goods and specially designed souvenirs.

Directions: Get out of Exit 1 at City Hall Station of Subway Line
1 and turn left in the direction of Jeongdong-gil. Walk for 5 min
and the museum is located next to the Seosomun Annex of Seoul
City Hall.
Parking information: Parking lot at Lotte Hotel (parking
space available for 30 large-sized buses) and street parking
at Taepyeong-ro (parking space available for 3 large-sized
buses)

A walking tour product may be developed along the path leading from the Seoul Museum of Art near
Deoksugung Palace to the Seoul Museum of History near Gyeonghuigung Palace combining the themes of
history, culture and art.
A cultural tour product linked with the Miso performance at Chongdong Theater may be developed.
A new special tour course may be developed for foreign tourists with refined cultural taste.
The museum provides docent service. Interested groups are requested to make reservations in advance.
