In 1997, I made a trip to St. Petersburg, Russia. While there I met with Valeri Rukovichkin, whose new network was struggling on two small cable channels in Estonia. Life TV Estonia has grown through the years, but now needs a new satellite to cover not only the three Balkan states, but more of Russia and Eastern Europe! So, are you ready for a new verse? Yes, we squeezed him in on our Hotbird-8 satellite, so sing with us in Estonian and some Russian, since this whole region was once part of the Soviet Union — WOW, a sour note turned sweet, amen?

Next, I’m sure there are some songs in the Urdu language. Why? Because believe it or not, more than 200 million people in the world speak Urdu! Again, a precious brother, Javed Rauf, was struggling on one small cable channel. Enter your TBN! Talk about tongues — we now sing all over Pakistan in the Urdu language. Oh, yes, that makes network number 26 in our great TBN Family of Networks!

a few new ones? We’ve already been singing some in Spanish, Italian, Russian, Arabic, Farsi, Hebrew, and of course, English!

We can almost claim a new Arabic network since we changed the name from The Healing Channel to Al-Horreya, which means “freedom” in Arabic. The Healing Channel sounded too religious, so now we hope to capture new viewers and give them FREEDOM in Jesus! Dr. Raafat Girgis and Pastor Reza Safa are already rejoicing in our brand new studio with LIVE Arabic and Farsi songs of freedom! Yes, Arabic and Farsi now cover North America and Australia, as well as the Moslem Middle East!

So, let’s keep singing. Last year Matt and I stopped in Brazil. Some years

Wait until you hear Swahili! It is a most unique sounding language, but can they sing — oh yes, and they dance, too! Sorry all you Baptists!

Next is Jonas Gonzales and the Spanish language Enlace network. Fifteen hundred cable systems in Central and South America will put our Spanish network on the air — FREE! All they ask for is 1,500 small satellite decoder boxes at $52 each! WOW again! We said YES, por favor! This puts Enlace on over 7,000 cable systems all over Latin America, fed by three different satellites. Glory be to God — se habla español! Actually, I really do know a song in Spanish: “Yo tengo paz, paz, paz en mi corazón.” A missionary taught us kids the whole song 70 years ago — and Matt says my memory is fading. I rest my case!

And, finally, all of Canada is rejoicing since we entered into a partnership with Leon Fontaine and the Miracle Channel network, which reaches 4.5 million homes across Canada. tongues of the nations! A powerful word of prophecy came

to Jan and me many years ago during TBN’s infancy. The word was —

“Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitation . . . for thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left . . . and thy seed [Matt] shall inherit the gentiles . . . .” Isa. 54:2-3 KJV

Glory be to God Most High! Jan and I, along with many of you, have lived to see this most precious seed come to pass! Come on, let’s sing Psalm 89:1 together:

“I will sing of the mercies of the LORD forever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations . . . Yes, I will sing of the mercies of the LORD”.Yes, Jan and I heard that tongue — so let’s keep singing!
