Secretary CGP IMA GSB, who inaugurated function & thanks to all four speakers Dr. R.K.Bajpai, Dr. Ramankumar, Dr. Jayendra Kapadia, and Dr. Jaswantsinh Darbar shared their views about change in general practice. We also gave memorandum to Police Commissioner, Ahmedabad.
Friends, First day of July every year is celebrated benevolently as “Doctor Day”. This day is meant to celebrate the selflessness of the noblest profession on the earth and to all doctor who through their dedication to service and charity have always put service before self and tried to alleviate the pain and suffering of all patients across the country.
Our salutation to all Doctors who through their adoration, charity, sacrifices, bravery and audacity have somehow or other contributed to upliftment of Indian society. We pray our obeisance to the noblest of them all in memories of Dr. B.C. Roy.

Congratulations to Dr Kamal Sharma interventional
cardiologist for discovery of "winking coronary sign" on
angiography in ventricular septal rupture in Acute MI and
getting it named as " kamal sharma sign" .
Also we congratulate him for astounding success of
his book viz 3rd edition of Kamal Sharma's Clinical
cardiology book which has become syllablus book all

DR. GIRISHCHANDRA HARILAL SHAH
M.D., F.I.I.S.,F.I.C.C.
Dr. Girishbhai H. Shah was born on 17th December, 1928, at Dahod.
Student of St. Xavier’s High School, Ahmedabad.
Joint B. J. Medical College Ahmedabad and qualified as M.B.B.S. in 1951.
Passed his M.D. Obstetric & Gynecology in 1955 from same college.
A unique combination of Medical professional with Bio-medical engineering mindset. Used Ham radio for humanitarian work during natural disasters. He was a born innovator who created his ring applicator own endoscope and solid state electro coagulator machine before 3 decades.
He had a flair for biomedical engineering , creating his own instruments in a makeshift laboratory at home; he prepared the first cryosurgery probe, and he was invited by the National Institute of Occupational Health (NIOH) to prepare a hot humid chamber.
DR. Girishbhai will be remembered for his beautiful mind, for his smile and playfulness, and for never being shy to ask the difficult questions.
He was Hon Secretary of Ahmedabad Medical Association in the year 1959-1960.
He was Vice President of Ahmedabad Medical Association in the year 1962-1963.
He was Hon. Joint Secretary of Ahmedabad Medical Association in the year 1967-1968.
He was the PRESIDENT of Ahmedabad Medical Association in the year 1987-1988.
He expired on 10th June, 2019.
