Over time, Emirates Business Group has steadily grown and this is because our key ingredient to success is the relentless efforts and contributions of every individual employee within our group.

Our success is not only measured by our profits, but by our most valu-able asset, which is our people with-in our group; who with strong moral and commitment has made Emirates Business Group not only successful in its business, but has also built a close family that is bonded together with rich values, character and ethics, blended with the passion for success. We value and believe that our employ-ees are the driving force for our ongo-ing and future success.

As the New Year unfolds before us, let us continue to work together not only as a team, but more importantly as a family with a spirit of oneness and unity that will help us to achieve high-er success and bring prosperity to all. I take this opportunity to wish ev-eryone within the Emirates Business Group’s family, a prosperous and Suc-cessful 2015.

Mr. Mohamed Abdul Jalil Al BlookiChairman - Emirates Business Group

Chairman’s New Year Message - 2015

EBG Gets a new brandingEBG in the past few months has undergone a change in terms of its branding identity. The first change that oc-curred was with the name of the group. Formerly known as “Emirates Associated Business Group or EABG”; has recently been changed to “Emirates Business Group or EBG”. The changes also led to the creation of its new logo.

Now that the new company name and logo have become official, other related collaterals are in the pipeline to be revised in order to incorporate the new corporate name and branding.

We believe that this change in our corporate identity will not only help us to stay ahead of our times but will also be iconic within and outside the organization.

INMA Business Development Consultants had conducted a two day HR Workshop at EBG’s head office. This work-shop was held on the 15th and 16th of December 2014, with the objective to formally introduce and familiarize the concerned HR personnel and the heads of all subsidiary companies with the new HR Policies and procedures.

The workshop was aimed to address various HR related topics in detail, such as: Introducing HR System, HR Mod-ules Awareness, KPI’s Development, Manpower Planning, Recruitment, Performance Management, Training & De-velopment, Compensation & Benefits and End of Service. The attendees at this two day workshop also included General Managers and concerned personnel from all sub-sidiaries.

With the start of a new year, it was also the start of a new fun time for staff members at EBG and a few others within the Group. Displaying their talented and not so talented skills, our football stars now take to the football field weekly to compete against each other with 5 or more aside teams. We hope that this will be the initial sparks to setup what later could be, internal football tournaments, played between all subsidiary companies within the group, with a positive and friendly but competitive game spirit.
