  • 3Bill summary and paymentsThis page provides a summary of charges for all the plans listed under your account. It also shows any payments or adjustments made to your account since your last bill.

This is where you can see payments received since your last bill. Payments made in the last few days may not show up until your next bill. You can still check them atmyvodafone.com.au

This section is a summary of all new charges on this bill. If you have more than one plan with Vodafone, youll see all plans on your account here. It is followed by a breakdown of new charges for each plan.

This subsection summarises your monthly charges, which are calculated in advance for the next month billing period.

If youre new to Vodafone or youve altered your plan, youll see part-monthly charges for the old and new rate plans on a pro-rata basis here.

If you pay a monthly installment for your handset or device, youll see it here along with the number of installments left to pay, and the balance.

This section outlines how youve used your plan throughout the month. It lists national calls, Vodafone to Vodafone, TXTs, data usage and other plan inclusions. These charges usually apply after any discounts or entitlements have been calculated.

This section lists any other charges that have been applied to your account or connection.

A single charge of GST will be shown on your bill here. For example, if youre on a $40 Plan, you will see a charge of $36.36 in the monthly plans and services section, plus the GST value of $3.64 which together equal $40.

  • 4Usage detailsEach plan on your account will have a breakdown of items that have been calculated and charged to your bill. If you dont want to receive usage details, you can request a summary bill by visiting myvodafone.com.au

Usage details are grouped according to the type used through the month. The summarydisplays the date, time, number dialled, duration and the total amount charged.

If usage is part of your plan entitlements, this is shown in the Cost (ex GST) and You Pay (ex GST) column. The Cost (excl GST) column shows the normal price of the usage item before it was included in your entitlement. The You Pay (excl GST) column shows the total cost to you after your entitlement and/or discounts have been deducted.

Data usage includes activities like viewing websites, downloading music and content, viewing social network sites like Facebook and Twitter, emailing and gaming.

Your bill lists a summary of the total kilobytes (kB) that have been uploaded anddownloaded to your handset or device each day.

The total usage is represented as either kilobytes (kB), megabytes (MB) or gigabytes (GB) depending on how much you have used over the month.A simple way to calculate this is: 1024 kilobytes (kB) = 1 megabyte (MB) 1024 megabytes (MB) = 1 gigabyte (GB)

The total charge for your usage is shown in the highlighted panel at the bottom of the page. If you go over your plan entitlements, or use products and services not included, these items will be charged in addition to your monthly plans and services charge. Make sure you know what your entitlement are by refering to your plan details. All usage shown on your bill is exclusive of GST.
