Advanced LearnersHave students create true and false sentencesbased on movies they have seen. For example:En la película El hombre araña, el galán mató alos extraterrestres. Collect their sentences andput them on a transparency. Have the entireclass read them, say whether they are true orfalse, and correct false statements.
Students with Special NeedsTo reinforce vocabulary, pair advanced learners withvisually impaired students. Using the vocabulary liston p. 342, have the advanced learners give cluesfor each word. For example, students can say aword’s definition or its opposite. Have the visuallyimpaired student guess the vocabulary word orphrase and use it in a sentence.
