PROCESS DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Currently working as a Sr. Export coordinator of shipments in which we do provide assistance to freight forwarders, NVOCC shippers and direct customers by handling their end to end operations in logistics by handling multimodal movements which covers rail , truck, ocean and air.

To perform the current role as a Sr. export coordinator to handle logistics operations i do manage a team of 20 people and to process this job there are some associated tasks which are as :.

Providing end to end customer service by handling the cargo management, custom procedure, and export and import documentation process.

For payments we do provide and guide to customers (FFWD,NVOCC) in terms of direct payment, letter of credit payments, open account and for the payment of agency we co-ordinate the same with port of loading, discharge agent to get the approval.

Providing and contacting to bank for letter of credit terms and conditions and after the issuance send a copy to exporter.

For import purpose arranging bank guarantees for shipments by the way of letter of credit as per the record of export limits.

Providing a knowledge to various insurance policies and methods and handling duty drawback procedures.

Provide the knowledge to all customers regarding special economic zone shipments and the various exemptions and benefits of it whenever it is required by customer as per their shipment.

Provide the knowledge of Inco-terms to customer to facilitate the shipment by setting the responsibilities and duties at what level, and for insurance perspective we do provide the information and mainly dealing with open policy insurance.

For custom approval we do provide assistance to customer reg central excise examination of cargo/ custom approval at port with the submission of documents and fees.

Responsible to check and submit all the doc’s of export and make sure that the IGM (Import general manifest) to be sent on time.

Regular co-ordinate with port agents to ensure the shipments type (FCL/FCL/ or LCL/LCL or any) with the approval of agency.

Ensuring that all document of titles must be submitted on time and shipment sailed accordingly.

Dealing with FFWD for their doc’s by validating their house bills.

Identify and manage risk within the logistics activities.

EARLIER JOB ROLE:.SR.DSR (Documentation service representative):

Under this role I am entitled to supervise and perform the roles which are as:.

Supervising:. • Bill production, Arrival notice, Account receivable and Rating team in which total 19 ppl are being managed by me. • Ensuring the smooth flow of process functioning. • Check the TAT to process the specific job roles and ensure to complete within a time frame. • Validate the information received from stakeholders / port authorities / custom and sharing with team as update.

Job roles which are to be performed:.

• As per the cargo load list make sure all the documents to be provided for shipment to associated parties ( Consignee, Shipper, Custom, Port agents, and sharing the information to update Manifest list of cargo) • Contact with port agent in case of telex message, sea way bill required by customer and for collection approval of any charge. • For any amendment after the transmission issue invoice to customer and create freight correction note. • Contact with load list agent and to make sure all the urgent bills are to be finalized with in a time frame by contacting with internal departments to complete their job roles and resolve the issues for hold cases in documentation.
