Welcome to the User Guide for Visual Product Sorting. Thank you for choosing our product.This quick user guide describes the functionality of the Visual Product Sorting extension by NEKLO and explains how to use it. Enjoy.

Visual Product Sorting is an extension for Magento that makes daily routine easier for a merchant. With this extension editing in category admin becomes easy and visual. Visual Product Sorting displays the products in your Magento admin panel in a way customers see them in your store. You can easily change product position by drag and drop and fix it in a certain position with the pin. Once you save the changes made, they will at once be applied to the frontend.

The extension gives you the power to decide which products your customers will see first, to motivate them to make a purchase. The best solution here is to place the most popular and discounted products on the first catalog page and move the unpopular items to the end. There are additional options now that allow you to hide disabled and out-of-stock products so that there will be only relevant information in your store.

How to use. Getting started

To get started with the Visual Product Sorting, please log in to your Magento admin panel and follow these steps:

1. Go to Stores > Settings > Configuration and choose NEKLO > Product Position > Grid Settings.

2.In the Grid Settings set a number for product columns and rows per page you would like to be displayed in a store.

3.To exclude irrelevant products from display and make your catalog more informative, enable the ‘Hide Disabled Products’ and ‘Hide Out-Of-Stock Products’ options.

Product Sorting

1. To change the position of the products in your store, in your admin panel, go to Products > Inventory > Categories and choose the category you want to edit.

2. To edit the category, in the menu find and choose Neklo Visual Product Sorting, then click and wait for it to load. What you see after the extension loads is how your products are currently displayed in your store. This is exactly what your customers see when they come to you.

3. When you hover the cursor over a product image, a pin button and four position changing buttons appear. Don’t like the way your catalog page looks and would like to change the product order? That’s easy! Simply drag and drop to move a product to a new position.

4. To pin a product in a certain place, drag and drop it to the desired position and click the pin button.

5. To move a product one position left/right click the “←”or “→” button correspondingly.

6. To move a product to the start or the end position on the page, click the “<<” or “>>” button.

7. Once you finished with the changes, click “Save”. After you save the changes, they will at once be applied to your store in the frontend.

Congratulations! Now all the products are placed exactly as you want! Just open your store and enjoy.
