Key Function Definition
ESC:Return key, at any interface, short press to return to the previous interface; Long press
to return to the main interface.
◄:Previous; long press to rewind.
►:Next; long press to fast‐forward.
M:MENU button. In the related applications or multi‐task under the operation, a short press
will pop‐up sub‐menu interface.
V:VOL key, short press will pop up volume interface for volume adjustment.
Keys: OK & PLAY, when playing media files, press to pause or stop; in the menu, press to
select and confirm or exit.

Attention:
1. In all menu screens, if no special instructions were specified, ◄ / ► keys functions as the
up and down selection, to confirm the selection, ESC return to the previous menu level. 2. In the application, press V button will pop up the volume adjust window, press ◄ / ► keys

Switch On/Off

While the player is on, long press will turn off the player. When the player is idle for a period of specified time, the player automatically shut down.
Note: When the player and PC connection, this feature is invalid.
Low Battery When the battery power is low, the low battery screen will appear, and then automatically
shut down to sleep mode. Please charge first before restarting the player.
Charger current specifications selection 400‐500mA.
File Storage Different types of files should be stored in different directories, such as: music files to be
placed in the MUSIC directory, audio files should be placed in the RECORD directory, and so on,
otherwise the application cannot find the corresponding file.

Connecting with the PC and Charger
System Requirements Operating System: Windows XP/2K/ME/98 (need to install driver) / Linux9 and above / Mac OS

PC Connection Use the supplied USB cable to connect PC with the player, select a mode to enter. For details,
see "Settings ‐ Advanced Options ‐ connection type" description.
If the player is disconnect via USB or the hardware is removed from the PC, the system will

enter the player operating state.
If the USB is not disconnected, the screen will continue to show charging status.
Connecting with the Charger/Adapter
Connect the player with the charger that was provided, you will be prompted to select "Power
and Play" or "USB Charging".
Music In the main menu, select "music" option, and press to enter the main menu. When the player powers on, it will show the last interface that the player displayed.
Main Menu Now playing: List the song that was last played and highlights it. If no file was played the
previous time, no file will be displayed.
All Tracks: Players listed in the directory of the built‐in memory stores all the music files.

Artists: Artist list, select an artist, then it will display a list of songs by this artist. Unknown
Artist category will store songs which the artists could not be identified. Unknown Album and
Unknown Genre have the same feature.
Album: Album list, select an album, the next a list of songs for this album.
Genre: genre list, select a genre, the next a list of songs of this genre.
Playlist: a total of five play lists, users can according to their demand to classify songs.
Directory listing: Built‐in memory, external memory. Built‐in Memory displays music files
stored internally. External Memory displays music files stores externally. If external card is
connected, the External Memory is not displayed.
Recording list: list of all recorded files.
Tags list: lists all music files with tags, up to 32 labels.
Rating: This feature lists the five‐level list (1‐5 stars), the list of the songs corresponds to the

star level. Degree of user preferences can be carried out on each song in this rating system.
Music Player Interface Description Operating Sub‐menus
In the music playback interface, press M key to enter sub‐menu, the options are: "AB Repeat",
"circulation patterns", "EQ Selection", "Sound Setting", "Repetition Frequency", "Repeat
Intervals", "Variable Speed Playback", "Lyrics Display", "Set Star", "Bookmark", "Ad to Playlist ",
"Delete Files" and "More Information".
1. Play, pause
Press button, switch play and pause status. Note: Play music, lyrics display function when the screen black.
2. Fast forward, rewind playback
When the songs is in play or pause, long press ◄ / ► key to fast forward or rewind.

3. Song Switching
Press ◄ / ► keys can be up and down to switch to the previous song or the next song.
4. AB Repeat
Select "AB Repeat", press buttons, when the screen displays "A‐", the player is confirming
A; press button again, when the screen displays "‐B", the A‐point is set, the player is
confirming B points; again, press the button, then the icon becomes "A‐B", said the
B‐point is set to start AB repeat; at this time if the is pressed again, the AB repeat will be canceled. 5. Play Mode settings
Select "Cyclic Mode" to enter the options menu interface. Cycle model are: sequence, loop a
cycle all, random + repeat.

Menu options are: natural, pop, classical, soft, jazz, rock, heavy bass, user EQ, SRS WOW, SRS
WOW HD and SRS user mode.
7. Audio Setting
Menu options are: "User EQ", "SRS Use Mode, "Fade".
Once entered "User EQ", press the M key to select the different bars (Selected Bar is yellow),
press◄ / ► keys to change values.
"SRR User Mode" And "Fade" menu operations are similar to other menus.
8. Repetition frequency
Press ◄ / ► button to adjust the value of repetition frequency from 1 to 10 and infinite times.
9. Repeat Interval
Operation similar to "Repetition Frequency" with range of 1‐7 seconds.

11. Setting stars
Press ◄ / ► keys to choose between the different stars.
12. Bookmark
Choose "Add Tab", press key will bookmark the current song playing and play time and
then return to play interface.
13. Add to Playlist
Once entered "Add to Playlist", select the appropriate list and returned to the previous screen.
At this point, this song has been added to the playlist.

Pictures
In the Main Menu, select "Pictures" to enter the menu.
Main Menu Now playing: functions similar to the Now Playing function of the Music Menu.
Directory Listing: functions similar to the Directory function of the Music Menu.
Play Mode: Set the mode which the image lists are displayed: list mode or thumbnail mode.

When manually browsing a particular image, press the M key to enter sub‐menu, options
are "Rotating", "Zoom", "Slide Interval", "Slide Effects", "Desktop Background Setting",
"Power‐on Animation Setting" , "Power‐off Animation Setting" "Delete Files", and "More
Information".
1. Play, Stop: while playing pictures, press key to automatic switch between manual
playback and auto playback, press the ◄ / ► keys to show the previous or next picture.
2. Rotation: Select the desired rotation angle: 90, 180 or 270 degrees.
3. Zoom: choose to zoom in or out. Press ◄ / ► key to move up or down, press ESC and the
M key to move left or right; press to exit Zoom mode. (In Zoom mode, you cannot

Note: Zoom and Rotation is invalid with GIF format images. Zoom function on less than 320 *
240 pixel image is invalid.
4. Slide Interval: Select the picture playback interval, 1‐10 seconds.
5. Slide Effects: Select the Picture Play Type: No Effect, Flying In, Checkerboard, Partition,
Wipers, Blinds, Random Lines, and Random Effects.
6. Desktop Background Setting: You can set up the main interface for the current picture
background. Setting is successful, the system will pop‐up window displays "successfully set!."
7. Power‐on Animation Setting: the current picture is set to boot the player animations.
8. Power‐off Animation Setting: the current picture is set to shut down the player animations.
9. Delete Files: operating mode, with the music, the removal operation of the same.
10. More Information: displays information relating to the current picture.

In the Main Menu, select "Videos" to enter the menu.
Main Menu Now Playing: lists the file that was last played and highlights it.

corresponding button according to function. If no button was pressed after 3 seconds, bar will

Operating Sub‐menu
In the playback interface, press the M key to enter sub‐menu options: "Play Mode",
"Bookmark", "Delete" and "More Information". At this point video stops playing and displays
the following:
1. Play, Pause: press button, switch between play or pause. Note: This mode does not support multi‐tasking function, shielding black features.
2. Fast forward, rewind: When the file is playing or paused, long press ◄ / ► key to rewind or
fast‐forward.

4) LCD Settings: If it's selected and no button was pressed after three seconds, the screen will

are no saved stations, it cannot be switched.

1. Listening to Radio
Select this to enter the FM main interface, it will display the station from the previous play. If
it's the first use, the default is 87.5MHz.

In normal mode, press ◄ / ► key to decrease or increase a frequency. In the default mode,
press to go to previous or next saved radio station.
2. Radio Recording
Press button to enter the radio recording interface, Radio Recording is similar to Audio
Recording. The recorded file will be automatically saved to the main menu of the audio
file‐FM recording folder.
3. Recording Quality: similar to Audio Recording.
4. Save \ Delete the Station: press button to save the current station, the saved location
can be selected in the station list. After saving, the current station can be deleted.
5. Scanning
Manual Scanning: In normal mode, press ◄ / ► keys to search stations, long press for Quick
Search.

Auto Scanning, in the sub‐menu, select "Auto Scanning", the system began to automatically
search stations. After the search is completed, it will automatically save the station found and
play the first radio station, if no station is found, then it stop at the initial frequency. While
searching, press ESC key to exit, the system will stopped at the last station.
6. Radio List: lists the stations saved, choose a station and press to enter FM Interface to listen. Each band can save up to 20 radio stations. 7. Radio Frequency: Radio frequency bands, Europe/US and Japan.
8. Play / Mute: in the Sub‐menu, select Play / Mute to switch between these two modes.
E‐Book In the Main Menu, select "E‐book" into the menu.
Main Menu Currently Reading: displays last file read. If there are no files, the display is not empty.

In a text browser interface, press M key to enter sub‐menu options are "jump to",

Similar to Music Bookmark.
6. Delete Files
Similar to Music Delete Files.
Tools In the Main Menu, select "Tools", this player supports Stopwatch, Calculator, and Calendar.

Games Note: This application only for nine key programs, if it's not nine key program, please delete

In the Main Menu, select "Game" to enter. This player support NES, GB and GBC format
games.

Continue: starts from the same place where you exited from the previous time. (Option only
available when the previous game was saved)
Option settings: Press ◄ / ► key down to select the appropriate option.
1. Volume: adjust the game volume,
2. Sound Output: Select to turn on or off game sound
3. Button Configuration: during the game, the buttons will function as normal. Once entered
the configuration interface, you need to define a function for each button. Set the functions
according to the prompts displayed. Once selected, press to enter. 4. Display Mode: set the normal display or full screen display.
When the game has ended, the screen will return to the menu interface. It will ask if you
would like to "Save Game". Make the selection and press to exit.

File Navigation In the Main Menu, select "File Navi" to enter. Under this option, there are "Internal Memory"
and "External Memory" (this would not display if there is no card).
Select "Internal Memory", you will see the menu list, including folders TXT, VIDEO, PICTURES,
MUSIC, RECORD, NES, PLAYLIST, and other user files.
Select a folder for file navigation, press button, at this time, it will display a list of all the
files in that folder. Select the desired files, press to open it. External Memory navigates similarly as Internal Memory.

Display Settings 1. Backlight Timer
Options are: off, 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 20 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes. If the
backlight timer is off, the screen will never turn off. If the backlight timer is set, the player's
screen will turn off after the specific set time.
2. Backlight brightness: on a scale of 1‐5.
3. Screensaver Time: Off, 30sec, 1min, 2min, 3min, 4min, 5min.
Power‐saving Mode 1. Power‐saving mode
Options are: Off, 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes. If the

2. Sleep Mode
Is divided into closed, 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, 5 hours, the
player will automatically shut down within a set time.
Language Support Supported Languages: English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean,
French, German, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Czech, Danish, Polish, Russian,
Turkish, Hebrew, Thai, Hungarian, Romanian, Arabic. Default: Simplified Chinese.
Video Output 1. Connect the player to a TV. For connection methods, see "Video Recording".
2. Press ◄ / ► to turn it off or to select a format: PAL / NTSC;

Player Information Shows basic player information: owner, player name, firmware version, storage, remaining
storage, external card storage.
Connection Type 1. USB
If you choose this option, when using the supplied USB cable to connect the player to PC,
once the player is on, it will ask you to choose your mode: "Charge and Data Transmission",
"Charge and Play", or "USB Charging". If no selection is made, the system automatically enter
the "Charge and Play" mode. The screen will display "USB in use, do not disconnect". On your
PC, the removable disk window will pop up. Select "Charge and play", the system will enter
the application interface while charging. Select "USB Charging" to go to charging interface,

press ESC key to return to application interface.
2. MTP Device
If you choose this option, when using the supplied USB cable to connect the player to PC, it
will ask you to choose your mode: MTP Device, Charge and Play, USB Charging. If no selection
is made, the system automatically enter "MTP Device" mode. The screen will display "USB in
use, do not disconnect". The player will then entered the MTP mode. On your PC, the MTP
Media Players window will pop up.
Other options are similar to the USB Connection mode.
Desktop Display Setting for the main interface style: Coverflow, projection and photo frame.
Button Tone Three kinds of button sounds to choose from.

Format The player memory can be formatted. Before formatting, save all data that you want to keep.
Card Format The external card can be formatted. Before formatting, save all data that you want to keep.
Set Owner Press the M button to move up and down, ◄ / ► buttons to move left and right, ESC key to
delete, and button to confirm.
Clear License Information
Select, then it will open up the confirmation dialog box, select Ok or Cancel.
System Test Select, then the play will display a dialog box: "may take several minutes to complete", choose
OK, the system will began to self‐test, the screen will display "System Checking ..."

System Reset Select, then you will be prompted to choose whether you want to restore the factory settings,
select OK, then it would reset all the settings to the initial state.
Troubleshooting 1. Player cannot power on
Check if the battery power is out. If it is, connect the player via USB or wall charger, then try to
power on. Please check the AAA battery is placed correctly.
2. No sound in earphones
Check if the volume has been set to O.
Check if the earphones are fully plugged in.
3. Loud Noise

Check whether the earphone plug is clean, dirt can cause noise.
Check whether the music file is damaged. Try playing another music file to determine if that is
the problem. If the file has been damaged, it can cause serious noise.
4. FM reception is poor
Try to adjust the direction and location of player, try stretching the headphone cable.
Check whether there are electronic devices near that's jamming the signal.
5. Screen display is garbled
Check that the correct language option has been selected.
6. Buttons don't work
Check whether the HOLD lock is on.
7. Cannot download files
Check whether the player is properly connected to the computer.
