VISIT TO SAGAING DIVISION PRIMINSTER’S OFFICE

Prime Minister of Sagaing Division HE U Aye Tha expressed warm welcome to the visit of INNOX delegations and explained the current Economic situation and investment opportunities in Sagaing Division.

Sagaing Division OVERVIEW Location located in the north-western part of Myanmar It is bordered by India’s Nagaland and Manipur States to the north. Population 6,600,000 (2012) Urban population is 1,230,000 and rural is 5,360,000 Administration Sagaing Region consists of eight districts divided into 34 townships[3] with 198 wards and villages. The major cities are Sagaing, Monywa, Shwebo.

Hundred million tons of Sub-bituminate coal is available near Kalay The Government of Sagaing Division would like to invite for investment for Coal Power Plant Project and after completing the Project the eclectricity generated can be sold and distributed to India via National Grid.
