Visit Report of 3 HDFC Bank Officials at Both HRDP Pratapgarh on Jul 31 to Aug 4, 2018

Mr. Gajendra Dixit, Mr. Pramod Patwa and Ms Arpana Kumari reached Pratapgarh on Jul 31, 2018 to monitor

the both HRDP projects (P0205 & P0234). Visit was started by review meeting on Aug 1, 2018 with whole

project team of GVT including Mr. Anil Gupta, RPM (Raj), GVT-Jaipur and Mr. Paramhanse Yadav, SPM

(Civil), GVT-Jaipur. Progress was shared in both projects through PPT. Further, two teams divided for

purpose of close monitoring of all executed activities in all 6 villages of HRDP-I and 10 villages of HRDP-II.

Ms Arpana & Mr. Pramod was in first team and Mr. Gajendra was in second team. First team visited Veerpur,

Suhagpura of HRDP-I and Sandani, Dhaman Doongri, Mahendo ka Kheda, Odwara, Peepli Pathar, Dhariya

Kheri, Bari Sona Kothi in HRDP-II and all remaining villages by second team. Both team visited all sites,

interacted with project beneficiaries, VDC members as well as project team of GVT. In some villages 100%

sites of solar street lights were verified. In case on individual benefitted activities, verification was done on

random selection basis. Team was also participated in village meetings in some villages.

Team was also interacted with following govt. officials and PRI members during monitoring visit;

a) Sh Hemendra Nagar, RAS, Addl. District Magistrate, Pratapgarh

b) Dr Yogesh kanojiya, Sr Scientist cum Head of KVK, Pratapgarh

c) Sh Subodh Rajpoot, Assit Conservator of Forest, Pratapgarh

d) Sh Arjun lal Meena, Pradan, Block Peepalkhunt, Pratapgarh

Mr. HK Tomar, DPM shared about process adopted during entry in village, environment building, regular

village level meetings, VDC formation and its strengthening, drive for membership fees collection, additional

contribution as generation of corpus fund in VDC bank account, involvement of VDC at every step of activity

execution, etc. President of VDC shared their experience that how they are following process as informed by

GVT team;

• All works have been decided by VDC with taking resolution in meetings

• Regular meeting on fixed date.

• Decision of beneficiaries or site selection and contribution amount was done by VDC.

• Provision of receipt giving to each individual

• Corpus amount generation through VDC to make project sustainable

HDFC Bank team appreciated about quality of GVT team and their efforts and hard work towards project

implementation. They also observed that irrigation coverage will be increased by Irrigation Pipeline support

activity. Involvement of VDC in every step was observed by HDFC Bank team which is right approach for

making project successful.
