Concept Univision took over Plaza Mexico to host El Fiestn to mark the beginning of the Liga MX spring 2013 season.

Univision Deportes Broadcast Univision Deportes kicked off the start of the 2013 Liga MX season by hosting a viewing party of three matches. The games were displayed on a Jumbotron screen for all to enjoy. Viewing Party Bleachers surrounding the Jumbotron added a stadium-like feel to the Viewing Party. The January 5 th matches of America vs. Monterrey, Tigres vs. Jaguares, and San Luis vs. Santos Laguna were broadcast for fans to watch and cheer on their favorite teams.

Univision Deports Networks programming Futbol Central held a live broadcast from their Sports Desk at Plaza Mexico. The live coverage featured Univision Deportes celebrity talents Alejandro Berry and Jorge Calvo, as well as Mexican Soccer Legend Martin El Pulpo Zuniga. The hosts discussed season predictions and interacted with fans.

La Huasteca - Beer Garden A Coors Light Beer Garden was set-up within La Huasteca Restaurant. The area was open to the public Coors Light was served to consumers ages 21 and up. La Huasteca VIP Section Beer Garden also included a VIP Area for Sponsors, featuring a special appearance from Mexican Soccer Legend Martin Zuiga.

Carnaval Univision Univision partners and sponsors had the opportunity to host experiences that engaged consumers and contributed to brand consideration by their target audience. The festival area was full of activity from kick-off to closing, and featured the following: Live DJ on Stage Playing top hits throughout the event Univision Radio Talent - Featured Univision Radio DJs Jessica Sanchez La Polvorita and Juan Rubalcava El Wey Univision Radio Tents & Activities DJs at tent for the meet-and-greet, photo, and prize-winning opportunities 4v4 Soccer Participants signed up to play 15 minute matches Face Painters Fans got to show their team spirit with face-painted colors and logos of their favorite teams Meet & Greet with Martin Zuiga Autograph session with Mexican Soccer Legend at Univisions Fiestn tent Foosball Games Competitions lasted throughout the event with this fun and easy to play game Inflatable Soccer Activities Fun games and activities for families and kids Futboleros Soccer Freestylers LA Galaxy freestyle soccer performers were featured throughout the event, showing off their skills, interacting with the crowd, and performing before the Jumbotron during breaks of Liga MX broadcast

Mexican Soccer Legend Martin Zuiga Festival featured an Autograph session with Mexican Soccer Legend Martin Zuniga at Univision Fiestn tent, as well as at the VIP Area. Futbol Central Hosts Alejandro Berry & Jose Calvo Fans had the opportunity to meet the hosts of Futbol Central, get their autographs and take pictures at the Sports Desk.
