As it is widely known, collecting hair is not a recent activity. For many years now, this raw material has been required for different things. The method is new and in this point we are pioneers. Our techniques are unique and come from our own experience in doing the work in an entirely different way. We focus on hair collection without interfering the artists or hair dressers' work with hair.

Something that distinguishes us is that the hair we offer is completely natural without the use of any chemical treatment. We use delicately made herbal shampoos, We all know that there is Asian hair on the market which is treated with muriatic acid. This acid damages the cuticle, and the hair is left as a cylinder, so the root and end direction is not important. This type of hair doesn't last long and loses the natural brightness and consistency, rendering it vastly different from the natural hair we offer. Asian hair is also cheaper; the manufacturers don't consider its quality or class. People working with this type of hair have found many difficulties in selling their products, and with good reason. What are the different types and qualities of hair used for hair extension, weft, and wigs ?

• European Hair: Unsuitable for hair extensions.

European Hair is very fine and can be found on the market only in very small quantities. Few European women would be willing to give up their hair to hair companies and, if they did, it would be necessary for their hair to never have been chemically treated. Very unlikely...!

• Chinese Hair: Unsuitable for hair extensions.

Even though Chinese hair can be found in large quantities, this

type of hair is not compatible with most wearers because it has a round cross-section as opposed to the oval shape of Caucasian h air. This shape difference makes it too thick and rigid to be compatible with European hair, and is far from the texture of

• Brushed Indian Hair : Unsuitable for hair extensions.

Hundreds of thousands of Indian women gather the hair that is collected in their brushes. This results in hair of different lenghts,thickness and color. This method of collection results in balls of yarn where the hair lies unorganised and in all directions.

Because of the different directions the hair is lying in, and in or-der to be able to use it, it is necessary to submit it to an aggressi-ve acid treatment to strip it of its cuticle layer and prevent it from tangling.

It is the precise reason that Chinese hair can NOT be called or considered Remy... (or any other hair in the world) because there are no Temples in China for the remittance of hair.

OUR DE-PIGMENTATION AND PIGMENTATION PROCESS.

DECOLORATION THE MOST USED

CLEANING/HERBAL WASHINGWhen the hair arrives at Vision Hair factory it undergoes a very different process. First the hair is wash with a special 100% herbal shampoo and microbes are killed with an Antiseptic solution.

A delicate process of de-pigmentation is applied. It will last between 15 to 20 days. The black pigments are slowly lifted and pushed out from inside the hair. Another herbal solution is used for that purpose. We do not use Ammonia derivatives, which damage the outside cuticle. We do not bleach our hair.

The molecules of color are simply removed rather than bleached. Our depigmentation process does not damage the hair, and allows the removal of the black pigment without altering the cuticle.

After 4 hours. After 3 days. After 7 days. After 17 days.

The pigments of color are broken down but they are still there taking place inside the hair. The bleaching agent damages the hair, leaving it opaque, rough, and very fragile.

In our manufacturing process, we are able to maintain excellent quality without exception, as well as provide a very large selection of colors. Our special process of pigmentation is completely natural, as it is entirely plant based. Making dyes from common plants is not a new thing. It is in fact how humans first used color. Our ancestors knew they could extract certain colors from certain plants, such as yellow from goldenrod or purple from berries. Doing things the natural way is environment friendly and preserves nature. We refer to our natural methods as 'Bio-Positive', as they are actually good for the environment, and not destructive.When thereare no harmful chemicals or additives used to dye or bleach, virgin hair has the same texture and quality of naturally growing hair. Nor are there any toxins released into the delicate global environment.

The new color pigment has a very clean place to occupy. This ensures that the molecules will fit properly in place, thus the color will not fade after several washings.

Traditional dye does not manage to cover all the molecules, and does not penetrate inside, but remains only on surface. After several washes the hair color fades away and your hair begins to look dull.

S-Straight W -Wavy C - Curly K-Kinky

Let us begin by briefly reviewing the chemistry behind your curlicious curls. You are born with either naturally curly hair, or straight hair (or wavy). The amount of curl, wave, or lack thereof, is dependent on the number of disulfide bonds between hair proteins found in the hair shaft; the greater the number of links, the curlier the hair; conversely, the fewer the number of links, the straighter the hair.

Hair is primarily composed of keratin, a protein, which grows from the follicle. Keratins and other proteins are formulated in the cells of the hair follicle. All of the proteins become a part of the hair shaft and contain sulfur atoms. When two sulfur atoms pair up and bond, they form a disulfide bond. If the two sulfur atoms in the same protein are at a distance, and join to form the disulfide bond, the protein will bend. This is how your curls are created.

Straight hair is classified as a 1. Straight hair reflects the most sheen. It is also the most resilient hair of all of the hair types. It is hard to damage and next to impossible to curl this hair texture. Because the sebum (natural oil produced in the sebaceous glands of the scalp) gently works its way from the scalp to the ends without the interference of curls or kinks, it is the most oily hair texture of all.

STRAIGHT - 1

S1A is the full straight, like most of Chinese hair. In India, with the exception of Himalyan hair, there is no truly straight hair. Most of the ladies in India have hair that is straight or slightly wavy. So 'truly straight' hair must be artificially manufactured. Vision Hair uses a natural process to re-train the hair protein not to bend. So it is normal that straight hair in India is more expensive than straight

slightly wavy.

S1B is straight/slightly wavy, that is the case of the majority of Indian ladies.

WAVY - 2

Wavy hair is classified as a 2. Wavy hair lies somewhere between straight and curly hair. It also imparts sheen more than curly hair, but less than straight hair. The further down the wavy spectrum you go, the less sheen the hair will impart. Wavy hair is typically more prone to frizz. While type A ‘wavies’ can easily alternate between straight and curly styles, whereas type B and C Wavy hair is resistant to styling.
