SCHOOL MINISTRY NEWS

This past Friday our school participated in a regional

Catholic school initiative called a Day to Unplug Our

students teachers and families were encouraged to go the

day without the use of electricity This served as a symbol

for the day as we reflected on Christs death but also was

aligned to Pope Francis encyclical Laudato si Our 8th

grade students led the school and parish in the Stations of

the Cross using shadow figures to reenact the stations

while being guided through reflections Finally our 7th

graders collected and delivered items for the Sacred Heart

Shelter as part of our school-wide practice of giving

during Lent
