First Prayer to thee Remover of all obstacles for all Guard all the directions ever for me Clear the path afore best ever enthrall Make me to utter for what thee bless me Talk to me in heart to make me awake Make me to compose for what thee guide me Talk to me in nature to glide in lake Destiny of mankind extols this Epic Reader knows thyself, makes one’s life exalts Divinity subtler exalts critic Greater the truth, makes living enchants Knowledge or wisdom in me – Thy the source Bridge all gaps – The Ocean that I should cross

2) Sankranthi - Pongal Festival (Sonnet) Sun… The eternal witness, protector for Earth Oh! For all the drama of happenings Sustenance of creatures is no dearth Oh! For all the livelihood of innings Bread of life source in the nature Oh! For all its living of no trauma Thread of living force in all stature Oh! For all its life of action drama Festival of Sankranthi is for all Warmth in season starts with the festival New life of light for all in the world tall Warm loving regards to God, arrival Festivity of the Mother Nature Activity for dependents nurture

3) Sacrifice is Supreme (Sonnet)

Mother sacrifices flesh and blood for a child Motherliness gift of satisfaction Love that manifests and gets loud Beauty of life gets satisfaction Father sacrifices health and wealth Fatherliness gift of gratification Strives harmony at home that hath Duty with attachment give satisfaction Guru hath wisdom that sacrifices Godliness that mirrors emancipation Thou hath values always cultivates Gaiety of Bliss is the realization True sacrifice never turns back in Life True sacrifice giver for living Life

4) Foundation should be strong (sonnet) Make Home or Home-maker – each family; Controls and leads all the while, strive to thrive. Goodness or Governance – society; Excels and leads all the life, strive to thrive. Life or Living – each individual Aim with vision in the life, strive to thrive Education or Expression – for all Brim with learning for living, strive to thrive Character or Consistency – person Acquire and lead for society, strive to thrive Virtue or Sacrifice – for every one Required in life and living, strive to thrive Foundation if strong, to lead, to excel Achieves majority in life as whole

5) Oh My God! How a man can become God? (Sonnet)

Everyday binding unavoidable Cleansing face – I clean again and again Every day in life not deplorable Hearing good – I hear again and again Every moment and all life for living Seeing the world – I see again and again Every moment for living and living Action that I do – I do again and again Every event and moment in my life Praying God – I pray again and again Every company of all saints with shine Learn the scriptures – learn again and again Necessary to me in life that bind Necessary to become God, that blind (Oh! My God! How a man can become God?)

6) Invisible vices or blossomed virtues (Haiku) Though invisible the hatred and the jealousy Got caught those eventually Though invisible the Truth, Love, Peace, and Compassion Known only when it blossoms



7) Truth is this (Haiku) With water and mud Potter makes, not dry sand Allah, Siva Shakti Are those two and Who makes the creation? Truth is this

8) Cry for what? The birth I had

– separation made the child cry Mother’s milk and lullabies

– separation that made cry Mother’s feed on shoulders

– separation of soothing, made cry Parents’ decision for education

– separation to new people, made cry Marriage for new life from parents

– separation to lead made me, inside cry Departed parents time when came

– separation and future to me, made cry Oh! My Lord! The real separation Is from you? Did you not cry? When I was separated from you? Did I cry? When I separated from you? Deluded by all other Cries Concluded for why Cry When I really depart On whom should I cry? Mine or thine? And, Cry for what?

9) True University Education That which instructs discipline as medium That which breaths character as the learning That which educates values as syrup That which shows virtue consistent of times Being ‘love’ as its first language Being ‘service’ to mankind as the second language Being practices ‘penance’ as its third language That Education which helps to know the inner self Truly that University is true University in the world That’s the Kingdom of God

– You are the light, all that I see Mother, Father and others

– You are the forms, all that I see Words, Music and the meter

– You are the basis, all that I see

five elements of nature in proportion Who protects the mankind,

not to erase any race Oh My God! It is your command with Love My heart is your chair Swing in my heart It is not a Musical chair

13) Which Human Body is the temple of God?

When the thoughts are like flowers – that emanate the fragrance of Love

When the heart is the seat of God – not a musical chair with selfish faiths

When two eyes are lamps brightly lit from within by the Lord – they see no evil in others

While the tongue (temple bell) repeats the name of the Lord – only speaks truth for the welfare

When the food is given to the stomach as an offering – nourishes and tastes divine



While the breath is like fanning the Lord within – sweet fragrance always

When my hands work selflessly for the Lord – not to fan ego or attachment

That one, that body is the temple of the Lord The inner-self is nothing but God-Self

14) Such a lamp, such an ornament, such a garland …offer it to God with pure devotion

…not only someone, you dude! Though container, oil, wick are available Someone required to lit it Though gold, diamonds, rubies are available Someone required to make ornament Though flowers, thread, pin are available Someone required to make garland Sustenance is oil, truth is wick – in human Before light goes away – lit with wisdom Else, no use being human Good deeds are golden, die mind is diamond – in human Before someone steals – make ornament with wisdom Else, no use being good Flowers are thoughts, pin is intellect – in human Before someone spoils – make garland with wisdom Else, no use being wise Such a lamp, Such an ornament, Such a garland, …offer it to God with pure devotion …not to someone, you dude!

15) Proper-ties with you Flowers that blossoms - No command of anyone Offer truthfully Seasons that changes - No command of anyone Play truthfully …Serve mankind and Thy Lotus Feet Mankind always- Goes without command Requires command No command of anyone Serves whom? Oh! My Lord! Love, Service – Property of yours Comes without demand Becomes Proper-ties with you

16) Pathway to God Good Actions without attachment

– With Fear of Sin (in mind) Good Words without hurting

– With Love for Society (in heart) Good thoughts to adore without desires

– With Love for God (in soul) Journey from One to Many,

– lead many to ONE (Self to Supreme-Self) The pathway to God, bestow – Love of God (in society)

17) Seeing and Learning from Mother Nature See the Sky

– planet, stars and galaxies moves continuously… See the Earth

– it revolves and moves continuously… See the birds, animals

– joyously do activities living with the nature continuously…

See the man – always forgetting his own stature continuously…

Evolution is evident from animals, birds and beasts Man is different from all those at least… Yet, he tries to accumulate what he is not supposed to Lives, with no contentment or happiness hitherto Animals, do fixed actions according to the nature Man can do any action irrespective of nature Man is naturally a liberated state from animals… Do not the activities of animals in human life… …Go not the state of animals again and again

20) My Supreme Lord As the empty space vast beyond imagination

– that contained within it, the sky and the rest of elements five;

As the sea of Bliss is beyond comprehension – in the vision of those, who saw with eyes of Wisdom; As He who is embodiment of Truth and Love – makes me His own self, lest I think of anyone else; As that benevolent Grace of Divine Father and Mother – gave me work to worship, duty being God; For that Supreme Lord – cherishing in heart of my heart, – adoration deep and surrender with humility & wisdom – always with raised folded hands – feeling of oneness with all inclusiveness

22) Pain of Pains Oh My Lord! Being an Orphan, not a pain Born as single child, not a pain Being a pauper, not a pain Being rich or sick, not a pain The Supreme Being in the being Not able to see Pain of all pains For, Human with mind and heart

Lust and affection on wife -- is common in life Addition and addiction on materials -- lasts life after life

Company of Truth-followers -- makes one detached Company of Kind-hearted -- makes one Divine attached

Attachment on body -- lasts with health Detachment in Life -- makes wisdom of wealth Surrender to Supreme Master -- the path towards salvation Love for God and Love of God -- is true Love



For, God is Love and Love is God Live in Divine Love makes one God

(All other Love is only a temporary expression out of timely feelings that were let out. True Love lasts longer, sweeter, selfless and divine.)

26) Quench My Thirst When Mother Earth feel sad about Sun set

– Beautiful Sun rise blossoms everyday When a child cry for milk to mother

– Beautiful mother quenches thirst everyday Oh My Lord! I am your Son, not only to my mother and mother earth

– Beautiful True form of yours is not seen yet Hide and seek – not boring for you with all Do not chide and glide – hug me and quench my thirst

30) For God, I will never be tired Ablutions and cleansing the body

– daily activity till we die Aberrations and cleansing the mind

– daily work till last breath Emotions and appalling of inner enemies to diminish

– daily cleansing till we realize Avocations and weeding out past life upshots

– daily duty till we leave Abnormalities and surviving for life and living

– daily bond until we reach Oh! My Lord! Is it arrest with no rest? Humankind never gets tired? Show me to look within Daily Duty of yours till I live For God, I will be never be tired

31) Cool heart Dark Clouds that gather - color that doesn't matter Goes hither and thither - thunder that doesn't matter Cool water when rains Hard the Earth – Harder that doesn't matter Water stored to feed - purpose that matter Dig when you need Good Heart that dwells - what filled that matter Wet with compassion - tenderness that matter Always cool in fission Heart and water - one resemble the other Cloudy or hard - nature that matter Color doesn’t matter Maintain that batter …Cool, Cool, Cool

34) Share Divine your Love to unbind Body that grows… Churning food into blood incessantly Mind that binds… Waxing actions deep attachments incessantly Intellect that blinds… Multiplying desires with no bounds incessantly Knowledge that thrills… Yearning multiplies with awe incessantly Wisdom that calms… Expanding true divine Love incessantly Oh! My Lord! What really binds you? You with no bounds

Share your Divine Love That unbinds me I will be of no bounds As free as you are

35) United ONE that I Love to reach Created Ocean that is vast

Oh! My Lord! How can you hide for day after day? Who took leave now? Knowing that you exist everywhere, Can I bear no vision for one day? Something missing in my vision Quench my thirst for one day?

38) Every ‘Body’ is the temple of God The body… Encased with soul Duty bound in the world Every ‘Body’ serves the other Entwined with mind Actions deluge for the society Everybody serve the other Engaged with work Mundane actions for livelihood Everybody shares with other Enriched with virtues Tenderness of heart in society Everybody saves the other Enmeshed with no-evil Awareness of purity Everybody cajole the other Enshrined with Divinity Life with Unity and Purity Every ‘Body’ is the temple of God No need of any temple For, Man is Truly Divine All are ONE Be Alike to Everyone

The screen of play The five elements with human Actors are aplenty Acting is sweat Never ending drama Never seen the Director Purpose is His Play is ours

47) Look is Divine Look of Mother’s tenderness to child

… Child’s mischief to mother … Father’s care to child … Teacher’s satisfaction without bother … destitute for all care … animals that all soft … Master that all glare … friend that all graft

Look which is pure with purpose Oh! My Lord! Always divine Always soothing



48) Devotee’s heart that dwells divinity Twinkle that glows in Diamond Reflection that appears in Water Tree that filmed in seed Sun that emanates life-force Devotee’s heart that dwells divinity Oh! God! All that is same, in your game

49) God God is Supreme Divine Mother and Father God’s creation though have mother and father God Loves with no reason and season God’s punishment not by law but love God need not call the qualified God’s call qualifies God not allergic to incarnate God’s incarnation inevitable by mankind God separates himself to love himself God and creation not separated if loved other selves

59) Eight flowers to Lord Offering eight flowers to God… Actions with non-violence Activities with control of senses Actions spurred from heart with compassion Activities poured from others with forbearance Actions make environment with peace Activities that promote knowledge with penance Actions to attain wisdom with meditation Activities that know and reach the ultimate truth …So lead a life suffused with love.

60) Love of God always in full Pot of water from the Ocean Volume never reduces Pearls of Wisdom from the Master Repository never diminishes Wipe of galaxy from the Sky Vastness never shrinks Love of God when asked or given Never reduces … Always in full

63) What exactly is Truth? What exactly is Truth? Description of a 'thing seen' as one has seen it, …without exaggeration or under-statement? Nay, narration of incident … same word as one has heard it narrated? Nay, Truth that elevates; … it holds forth ideals; … it inspires the individual and society. It’s the Light that illumines one’s path to God. Life inspired by Truth enables human to live as human … not degrade oneself to the status of a lower species. There is God everywhere and there is no second entity. God is the Truth, the only Truth. God is in every article or thing, … as the basis, … as understanding and understandability, … as the source of Divine light, as Atma (Supreme God-self) Truth is the One Awareness, … the One Divine Energy … that activates every living being, nay, every particle of matter.

64) That God and devotee are TRUE Where there is a language Which is language of heart Where there is a religion Which is religion of love Where there is a faith Which is on inner-self Where there is scripture Which speaks oneness Where there is God Who is Omni-present? That God and that devotee are TRUE

65) Athma (Divine Inner-Self) As the Grease doesn’t stick to tongue As the Eye salve doesn’t stick to eye ball As the Water doesn’t stick to Lotus leaf Nothing sticks to the divine inner-self (Soul-Athma) As underground water The sustenance of all trees. The Atma is the underlying source all the bliss that the individual experiences Process of digging a bore-well, to bring the underground water to surface level involves. Steady hitting, digging, and thumping through a pipe which holds directs the drill. Lot of care is taken, ensures that air does not go into the pipe, for, then the drilling process becomes unsuccessful. Finally through a lot of effort, bring the subterranean water the surface level for human consumption. So too, one must undertake, the repetition of the Lord’s Name (Japam) very intensely taking care, that do not allow the attachment to worldly objects (Vishaya vasana) enter and interfere with the process.
