Department of Mechanical Engineering VIIT organized its 2nd International Conference on

Recent Trends in Engineering and Technology under VISHWACON-2018. The theme of Mechanical

Engineering was Mechanical Design, Materials Science, Mechatronics, Thermal Engineering and Fluid

Engineering. The participants from various parts of country took part in this conference to showcase

their research and experimental work. This conference also provided research exposure to the UG/PG

students. 54 papers were received out of which 7 papers were selected for poster presentation.

Among them the best 3 research papers and 2 poster presentations were rewarded by cash prize. The

conference was chaired by Mr. S. S. Kore, Dr. G. M. Kakandikar, and Prof. P.P. Hujare.

Prize Distribution Ceremony

At the end of the day there was a prize distribution ceremony. The 5 best papers and 2 best poster

presentations were rewarded by cash prize. The participants who secured prizes are:
