Viruses !Viruses !• A virus is a computer program that can copy itself and infect

a computer. A true virus can spread from one computer to another. Traditional computer virus emerged in the 1980’s , driven by the spread of personal computers and software sharing. Most of the viruses are written in the scripting languages for Microsoft websites such as word or excel. Two very famous viruses were the the Trojan horse virus and the I love you virus.
