• A computer virus may damage or delete files and data from your computer or even destroy the whole hard drive.

• Computer viruses spread easily through e-mail attachments or via e-mail chats.

even after the virus have been removed. But here´s few tips:

• Close the computer, remove it from the network and re-start it. This should stop the virus to spread in internal memory.

• Immediately after re-starting the computer, it´s good to run an anti-virus software. An up-to-date programme usually knows how to remove viruses.

• Re-install the windows: download the latest version of your Internet browser.

• Format the hard drive. This action will delete all data, files and programmes from your computer. But at the same time it destroys the malicious software

The firewall prevents hackers from accessing your computer.
