L.E.A.P. HIGH VIRTUAL SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM HALLANDALE HIGH SCHOOL

OVERVIEW This year the YMCA, in partnership with the Children’s Service Council, will be providing virtual summer-school services to complement school curricula, by offering additional learning opportunities for personal growth and social enrichment. Students will experience cyber learning, bringing the classroom to life with academic and cultural enrichment. Utilize the summer to stay on track for graduation through a variety of programs. The program is no cost to you, and open to all students interested in taking advantage of this opportunity. Space is limited, so please turn in your registration form and attend the first day. DATES/TIME Start Date: June 8, 2020 End Date: July 16, 2020 Time: Mon-Thurs. 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. *Reserve your spot with a completed registration form! ACADEMIC SUPPORT Academic enrichment, including, Reading, English, Math, Social Studies and Science programs. And Online Classes are available to help you move ahead. ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES Music, Health and Wellness, Leadership and Community Service Projects. PROJECT BASED LEARNING These are activities that connect to life beyond the classroom.
