LEHIGH VALLEY HEALTH NETWORK

Based in Allentown and Bethlehem, PA, LVHN comprises three campuses, Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, Lehigh Valley Hospital – 17th Street, Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg, representing 981 licensed acute beds; Lehigh Valley Health Services, Lehigh Valley Physician Group and nine community health centers.

There are almost 1,200 physicians on our medical staff representing 95 specialties, and LVHN is the area’s largest employer with more than 12,000 employees.

The network has entered into an alliance with six other systems to form AllSpire Health Partners, a new consortium to carry out joint activities in patient care services, research, and education to enhance the value of healthcare that communities receive.

LVHN is among the largest teaching hospitals in Pennsylvania, is a member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals, trains 242 residents in 18 freestanding and fully accredited residency and fellowship programs, and partnered with the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine to jointly create an innovative medical education program to train tomorrow’s physicians.

Our nationally recognized health system was ranked among the top 50 hospitals in the nation by U.S. News and World Report for 18 consecutive years; was named among the top five academic medical centers by the University HealthSystem Consortium, and has been designated as a National Magnet Hospital, the highest honor in excellence in nursing, since 2002.

The Children’s Hospital at Lehigh Valley Hospital is the only children’s hospital in the region and provides care in 29 specialties and general pediatrics.
