    role.

Violence is o several kinds. $ne can e hibit violence in physical, sychological, orse ual orm or simply by neglecting someone to the point o deprivation. The e tento violence ranges rom sel , to amily and riends, to community and the largeste pression is the entire war situation between and% or within the nations. Violencehas a!ected civili&ations. 't is evident rom the historical acts that wars that are theepitome o violence have ruined millions o lives. Those who resort to violence

justi y their action by citing various reasons but in the end it is only the personal

perception that leads to such kind o behaviour.

(el violence is best described as sel assault or committing suicide. )hen theperson fnds it hard to do any signifcant changes in the e ternal environment andalter the e ternal stimuli, he tends to harm himsel . *ack o confdence and ageneral eeling o in eriority are the contributing actors behind this kind obehaviour. kids helps them to build strong amily values and reduces the tendency to reactviolently. (imilarly, avoiding over consumption o alcohol and other such substancescheck this behaviour. /ehabilitation homes and support programs are available orthose who need pro essional help. editation and practicing yoga also helps torecti y this negative approach towards sel and others.

' think ' have an e cellent solution to end violence in our communities. 0irst o all, people have to care1 ' mean, how is anything going to get done i no one takes thetime to help2 ' hear people saying that the violence is getting out o hand, but yetthey do nothing to help. 't makes me sick to think about it.

(econd, parents should talk to their kids about violence3 they should set an e ampleor them. ' our generation knows what s right, and does something good to help the

situation, then our children will have a better world to live in.

0inally, we should take this situation with violence seriously. ' eel, and this is myopinion, that no one is taking this problem seriously. ' mean, some people actually

make violence into a joke. +oesn t anyone reali&e that today s children are seeingthis and are getting the idea that violence is good2 This is wrong1 ' personally do notwant my children to grow up in a world that is ull o violence, and ' m sure thatthere are other people who agree that something should be done, but yet no onedoes.

4ll ' m asking is or everyone to take a good look at our world, and see how violencehas distorted our way o li e, and maybe then something can be done. 2

To begin this essay, ' will take the liberty o giving give 56ou re not taking anyliberties, since you ve actually been asked to do this7 an e plicit and contemporarye planation o the term violence. 5+o you have any evidence or this2 0rom my reading o history, violence hasalways been part o society, and is perhaps less than it was in past times7

't occurs due to numerous reasons and it is characteristic o people rom all walkso li e and every age. 4ll in all, violence is nothing but a 8disease9 with various

symptoms and un ortunately appears to be a:icting a whopping number o people.5 )hopping is probably too casual or an essay o this type7

To trace the origins o violence, we have to look back to decades ago 52 millennia,surely7 when the world was a ar too di!erent place or living rom now. #owever, people were roughly the same, they had similar problems and their lives weredriven by love, hatred, hope, ear, betrayal and so on- eelings amiliar to all o us.;ut how then did they managed to lead a peace ul and nonviolent way o li e2

5)hat period are you talking about here, and where was this breakout o peace27

$ne o the answers to this uestion, ' deem, lies in the rapidly increasing popularityo horror movies, computer games etc. ' tend to believe that namely theseseemingly harmless ways o entertainment hold the key to the acceleratingoccurrences o violence, especially amongst the youngsters.

There are many people now who at least once in their lives have borne witness torepulsive acts o violence- some o which took place in the streets, others at schooland work and even at home. Those who have committed these dishonorable andshame ul actions were up to point driven by what they had seen in movies andgames. 0or e ample, it is an undeniable act that a f teen-year-old boy can hardlylearn how to hurt people without imitating those in the movies and the games.

5/eally2 ' would deny it, and ' d back it up with evidence. 6ou are saying that therewere no violent od?s absence and namely because o this they behave violently. Theytry to do justice to themselves by causing harm to others. 4nd in this way, they onlyadd up another piece o hatred to the enormous veil o rage and ear that iscurrently covering the world.

(umming up, it is obvious that violence occurs because o many reasons- all owhich, considering the current situation o the world, can be easily justifed.#owever, it is urgent that some measures should be taken to limit the amount oviolence as we all know that nothing good ever comes o it. ' suggest that we shouldshow those wretches enchained by violence that they should desert the act o doing

violent things and try to ollow a noble destiny instead. 'n this way, ' am unshakablyconvinced that the world will turn into a much better place.
