The “Talk” this week is the non-stop growth of the hottest happy hour in the “O”. Friday night Happy Hour @ Vintage with the best drinks specials out there. It’s the place to be to unwind after a long week or day at the office and you know how we do!

What made you say Orlando needed this type of happy hour?

Jae -Nothing against all the other happy hours in Orlando but before us they were boring. It’s the same crowd and same vibes. It’s nothing new, but we took the popular happy hour vibe & added a club element to it with a “bad azz” DJ & great looking women to blow it up. One thing that stands out is you have one of the best drink specials in Orlando. How is that possible?

Jae - I can’t tell you HOW we do it & give away all our secrets of success. But our happy hour includes $3 drinks 5 -11pm, then we sell $60 bottles of Goose till 9pm, $100 bottles of Rose’ until 9pm. Who is DJ Grinz?

Jae – He’s next up and coming, hot-test DJ in Orlando. He’s gonna do what he needs to do show his name, show what he is about. He’s on his grind. He is all about proving himself. He’s will-ing to do what it takes to prove that. So to all those who want to know who he is & what he is about, come out & check him out. Alex, being a part of the FIRM, everyone in Orlando knows the FIRM, It’s been said that whatever the FIRM touches tends to turns to

gold. What motivated you to be a part of this event?

Alex - Honestly it’s just the right people working to-gether. Even though Bernard’s not a part of the FIRM, he’s still family. We work together so well, especially Jae & I, we do the Tuesday night events and our 1 year anniversary just past on that, so everyone knows what we’re about. & that is basically it is what it is - why were together again on this event.I know all of you individually have done what you have done in Orlando. All of you have built a certain name & character for yourselves. Everyone seems to respect what everyone does. Why do you think it’s the same promoters that keep doing big things in Orlando, while others aren’t doing it on that level? What is it that others are doing wrong? Without telling the secrets! **Esco laughing…

Jae - I can’t really tell you our secrets! But its special promotions, that’s Alex and his family, like CC, they have done successful events for years now. They have been doing it a lot longer than I have and I respect their grind & I respect all of them. But I have always done my own stuff, away from downtown Orlando. I have tried to do different events and that’s how I met and linked up with Bernard. I started vibin’ with Bernard and I’m a vibe type of person. If we can vibe with each other as a person, then business is always straight. There’s no jealousy, there is no hate within our family, in our crew. We naturally respect each other and everyone else. We want everyone to be successful. We all want see everyone make money. We wouldn’t mind work-ing with other promoters, but a lot of times other pro-moters don’t want to. It’s kind of hard because it’s just one of those things you have to deal with, if someone doesn’t want to work with you they won’t. You can’t make them. You can’t do anything about it. There is no meter in our organizations. We all have our ideas and we all vote on them. At times, not everyone’s ideas get

heard, but we just respect everyone’s opinion, we just flow with it. What do you play in your car on the way to happy hour?

Jae – Right now I’m listening to a CD that one of my boys Hurley wrote the music too. Something I’m not going to hear in the club. Something nice and subtle. Because I know once I get to happy hour, DJ Grinz is going to play literally everything. There is no point in listening to the radio because DJ Grinz has it covered. He’s going to play it all! Reggae-tone, Hip Hop, House, Rock, Reggae, everything. I just come in & say to Grinz What you got next for everybody?

DJ Grinz – As the DJ for the night, it’s hard for me to choose, I definitely don’t like to listen to what I’m gonna play for the night. You might even find some Taylor Swift in my CD player at one point! (Laughing) I’m a big house fan, house get’s me pumped up for the night, so I would say house music. I’m listening to that DJ Grinz mix CD that’s about to drop. It’s not even out yet & I’m listening to it. That’s what I’m listening to. All I got to say is its coming!What future plans does The Firm/Bernard Fluerima/ Coldfront have for Orlando? What does the future hold?

Jae - World domination! (Laughing) Real talk, we got so much stuff going on that we don’t want to tease everyone. When it happens, it’s gonna happen. We have a big event coming out just before the New Year & soon after. As long as we get to stay around and work with good people we have some fire & make everyone happy.Any shout outs?
