Come one, come all! We have several events kicking off the month of April at the Ranch!
First, Kindergarten Roundup will take place on April 4
th at 5:15pm. This is for incoming
Kinder students and their families. Following Kinder Roundup, there is the General PTA Meeting at 6:30 PM in the cafeteria. At this meeting, the Arts in Education committee of VR PTA will recognize all the students who participated in the Reflections art program back in the Fall. Certificates will be presented to each student who submitted an art piece. We will also be electing new PTA Officers for the 2017-2018 school year, as well as voting on budget amendments. After the business meeting wraps up, the 2
nd graders will be
performing.
Vineyard Ranch will be participating in the NEISD Used Book Sale April 7
th-9
th. Thank
you to all who donated books. Please come out to the Littleton Gym at Blossom Athletic Center to shop! Saturday, April 8
th is Family
Day with lots of activities for kids and Sunday the 9
th is Bag Day. The first bag is $15 and
each additional bag is $10.
On April 7th, our students will be showing off
their safe riding skills at the Bike Rodeo! We will see you on the blacktop (lower parking lot).
If you are on campus in the coming weeks, you will notice an art gallery in the Atrium. This is the artwork displayed at the NEISD Young Masters Art Show on March 23rd. Stop by and take a look at all of the wonderful creations from our talented students.
Lastly, Vineyard Ranch PTA was honored at the NE Council PTA meeting on March 21
st
for receiving several membership awards. These included the Golden Apple Award for 100% of faculty participation, the Share the Love Award for 14 new members in February, 5 Year High Award and the Voice for Every Child Silver Award. This last award recognizes that we have one PTA member for every two students. Thank you to our Membership Chair Dawn Barrera for all of her hard work and to all of our PTA members. Happy Spring to all of you, Christy Garber [email protected]

Greenback Giving Program www.vineyardranchpta.org
Greenback Giving: Be the Leader in Your Child’s Education.
Donate Today.
Put your child first. No selling or buying merchandise is required. Just make a
donation! 100% of your donation stays at Vineyard Ranch, directly benefiting
students with over 25 unique programs. These include but are not limited to:
Meet the Masters art program, author visits, Red Ribbon Week, Bike Rodeo, Field
Day, National PTA’s Reflections art program, and special performances.
100% of your Greenback donation is also tax deductible. For 2015-2016,
Vineyard Ranch PTA spent almost $50 per student in delivering enrichment
programs and activities not included in the school curriculum budget. Synergize!
If we work together, we can do better: Double your Greenback Giving with your
corporate Matching Gift Program. Learn the 7 Habits of Greenback Giving on
our PTA website.
Fill out the Greenback Donation section of the Welcome Back Form in the PTA
packet. Return with payment to your child's teacher.
