VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
Interactions with villagers at Nhavi Budruk
Under Corporate Social Responsibility our Chairman Shri Babasaheb Kalyani has set up a vision to develop 100 villages on five indicators i.e. Water, Livelihood, Health, Education & Internal Roads. We are working in five districts– Satara, Pune, Kolhapur, A. Nagar and Solapur. Our Chairman along with Mrs. Sunita Kalyani visited villages - Nhavi Budruk, Borgaon, Nagzari and Dhamner [Taluka Koregaon] from Dist. Satara to review the work done under Village Development Project. Both were greeted by the Sarpanch and the villagers of the respective villages. At village Nhavi Budruk, we have done de-silting of big water reservoir and bandhara is also built to restore the water. At Borgaon, crematorium building is in progress. Since last 80 years the village had no crematorium and in the rainy season, the villagers suffered the most. At village Nagzari desilting of talav is done by BFL. The farmers are immensely benefitted due to this. There is record production of ginger due to rich silt and water.
