YOUTH PARENT MEETING: Today at 4pm, there will be a youth parent meeting about the upcoming River of Life Trip. Please bring the remaining payment for the trip and receive important information. Please let Jason and Erin know if you are unable to attend.
JULY STUDENT MISSION : Student Ministry is collecting school supplies for our community elementary and middle schools. Please drop your donations in either lobby.
HOLY LAND TRIP *UPDATE: November 6th through 15th. WE NEED MORE PEOPLE! There’s still plenty of room and time to sign up for the November trip to the Holy Land. Come walk where Jesus walked and experience your faith in a different way. Please contact Pastor Erik if you have any questions or to sign up.
FIREWORKS: Come enjoy the fireworks display at Villa Rica First UMC on Tuesday, July 3 starting at 5pm. $5 parking buys family friendly tailgating and fun activities for everyone. Bring a blanket, chair or a pick up truck. Food and drinks are available for purchase. Plan to have dinner here. There will be hamburgers, hotdogs and other concessions available for purchase.
All proceeds from parking & concessions go to further the mission & ministry here at Villa Rica First UMC.
FAQ SUMMER SERIES: Join us next week as we continue our summer series titled: “Frequently Asked Questions”. July 8: “Why Does Giving Matter?” July 15: “What Makes Methodism Unique?” July 22: “What do Methodists Believe About Baptism?” July 29: “What challenges are facing the church today, and what does the future of the United Methodist Church look like?”

BACK TO SCHOOL SUNDAY: August 5, Join us as we “Bless the Backpacks”. We will bless children and teachers for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year at both 9am & 11am service. Come back at 6pm dressed for a hoedown. The menu will include a low country boil and this will be a great time of fellowship. Look for an RSVP slip and more information next month.
