What makes Villa Amboise so special? Well location is one. Just a 10 minute drive from the A8 and a 2 minute drive to shops, banks and restaurants, the property is set in over an acre of grounds and offers peace and quiet and yet within reach of all the major tourist areas. Outside you have a large walk-in pool which is fully alarmed, ample sun beds, outside kitchen and dining area, not forgetting the Boules court.

Villa Amboise has five bedrooms, all have en-suite facilities and are air conditioned. Two of the bedrooms are family rooms sleeping four persons and whilst attached to the main villa, each having a separate entrance. Villa Amboise is fully centrally heated and for those winter evenings the lounge has a wonderful log fire. Every modern convenience has been provided for in the country style kitchen.

Close by Villa Amboise there are a several ‘perched’ villages with Montauroux and Callian being the closest, however trips to Mons and St. Cezaire along with Fayence, Tourettes and Seillans are also well worth a visit. Further afield the Gorge du Verdon offers a wide choice of sporting activities and spectacular scenery.

Many of the famous coastal resorts such as St. Tropez and Cannes are within easy reach. Villa Amboise is an ideal base to explore the sights and sounds along the Riviera. Monaco and Italy make a great day out as does Hyeres and Toulon. Visit the perfume centre of the world, Grasse. Or enjoy a glass or two with a tour of the vineyards a short distance to the west of Villa Amboise.

There are lots of sports in the area and, for fishing, Villa Amboise could not be in a better spot for the Lac St. Cassien, which is 1500 acres of carp heaven and is just a few minutes walk from the villa. Golf courses in abundance , water sports, climbing, hiking, mountain biking and much, much more all within easy reach. Winter sports are just 45 minutes drive to the nearest ski slopes. You can be on the slopes in the morning and on the beach in the afternoon! Winter or summer, whether you are a family or a group of friends, on a lads or girls week away Villa Amboise is the ideal place to stay. For those who prefer less energetic things on holiday then there are a number of spas in the area - or what about a spot of designer shopping in Cannes?

All over the Var and Alpes Maritime regions you will find plenty of events to enjoy and there is an amazing amount of days outs to keep the children entertained. In under 10 minutes walk from Villa Amboise you will find an abundance of things to do at the Lac St-Cassien. Visits to Frejus zoo is always a favourite for all the family and how about a day at Marineland near Antibes or the Tortoise Sanctuary near Le Luc. Events and entertainment are in abundance and include the Jazz Festival in Juan-les-Pin, Star spotting at the Cannes Film Festival, the Monaco Grand Prix, Sailing Regattas along the coast and the Fete de Musique which is held in June throughout France. Just an hour away in Monaco you will find all the ‘big’ names in concert, from Sir Elton John to Rod Stewart and there is always plenty of events on in the nearby villages and towns ranging from a local weekly market to a full scale festival. One to watch out for is TransHhumance where the shepherds bring their sheep up to the Haute Alpes for the summer and another is the Lemon Festival held in February at Menton.
