Basic Announcement

The hotel includes the stylish Restaurant U Rychtáře,which is located in the monumentally protected objectof Kubr farm from the 16th century, the oldest rural homestead in Prague. We recommend staying a fewdays before or after the workshop in Prague. The hotelreservation could be done for the dates October 10 – 16,2015. The sight-seeing programs for interested partici-pants and accompanying persons will be organized inPrague. Regarding to the fact that Prague is a muchfrequented tourist centre and the capacity of hotels islimited, all participants are asked to send their accom-modation requests as soon as possible. All rooms willbe allocated on a first come, first served basis.

The International Workshop NDT in Progress 2015 willbe the eight event in a series started in 2001 as a biennial workshop organized commonly by DGZfP andCNDT. The primary aim of these workshops is themeeting of NDT world experts and discussion of the latest state-of-the-art of the NDT/NDE research anddevelopment in selected areas. All interested personsare invited to contribute to discussions by their oraland/or poster presentations. Next to the skilled experts, the workshop is also intended for young researchers and students who are invited to presenttheir findings as the Workshop is an exceptional opportunity for dissemination of new experiences andmethods in the NDT/NDE field. Besides the working days you will also have a nice occasion to enjoy Prague – one of the most magical cities in Europe.

Call for papersAuthors are invited to submit their abstracts and papers in electronic files for inclusion inthe Conference Proceedings provided on a DVD at the Conference. Proceedings will bealso on-line public open after the conference at the www.ndt.net (ISSN 1435-4934). Authors must follow the guidelines for abstract submissions that are available at the conference website together with the on-line form. Please see the websitewww.cndt.cz/ndt_in_progress2015/ - section Abstract Submission. Please remember the deadline – Aprilt 30, 2015.Papers for oral presentation will be chosen by session leaders. Authors of papers for poster

presentation will have a possibility of short oral communication. Authors will be notified of the acceptance of their abstracts and presentations before May 31, 2015. Full version of papers will bepublished on conference CD and on web:www.ndt.net/. Proceedings will be offered for publishing in the Scopus database and selected pa-pers will be offered for publishing in scientific NDTjournals.
