Rajasthan Science Congress Association (RSCA) was formed in the year 2013 to mark the centenary year of Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA).RSCA was formed as voluntary/non-government organization of scientists, educators and teachers (all categories) for promotion of research anddevelopment in all forms of science, technology and innovations in the state of Rajasthan to meet the regional aspiration and academic expectations underthe auspices of Vaigyanik Drishtikon Society. The congress aims to provide a common platform to the scientific community, participating from diversefields to interact with researchers from their varied disciplines to strengthen their participatory network nationally and internationally. This will be anopportunity for all to share and exchange progress and information in diverse fields of research. This will help to generate a conscious thought processamong the scientific community towards making collective efforts to find scientific and technological solutions to existing challenges as well as to makethe daily life of the common citizen more comfortable. The budding academicians and researchers will become acquainted with the current issues of theland, the efforts being made by scientists to solve them and the new discoveries in the field of science and technology through various seminars which willbe presented during the science congress.

The Rajasthan Science Congress Association announced the name of Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur as the successive host to organize the VIIRajasthan Science Congress-2019 (RSC-2019) during the closing ceremony of the VI RSC-2018 organized by Central University of Rajasthan. Thepresent VII Rajasthan Science Congress has the scientific focal theme as “Current Scenario in Science and Technology: Facing the Challenges andCreating Opportunities”. Since the conference includes broad areas of Science and Technology, its interdisciplinary approach will be the key of scientificdeliberation. The present conference will provide opportunity to interact with different subject experts which is otherwise lacking in subject specificconference. Mohanlal Sukhadia University (erstwhile Udaipur University) is a NAAC accredited "A" Grade University,

established by an Act in the year 1962 to cater the needs of higher education in Southern Rajasthan with

more than 2.25 lakh students. The University has 33 departments under four constituent colleges. The

University has more than 180 affiliated colleges from districts of Udaipur, Dungarpur, Sirohi, Rajasmand,

Chittorgarh and Pratapgarh. The University is located in Aravalli Hill Area largely dominated by tribal

population. Ever since its inception,the University has been striving to maintain excellence in teaching,

research and community services. Great emphasis has been laid in creating scientific temper, maintaining

high ethical values and in keeping pace with emerging areas of higher learning. The University has ensured

overall socio-economic development of backward, under-privileged and socially challenged people by encouraging greater access to higher education,

learning and research as well as practicing various extension activities.

The VDS is a non-government society recognized by National Council of Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), Department of Science and

Technology (DST) and Government of India. VDS promotes scientific temperament among youth by publishing “Vaigyanik Drishtikon”, an only newspaper

of science published in Hindi. VDS also holds Rajasthan Science Congress at different parts of Rajasthan and provides a platform to discuss various latest

scientific developments. The Rajasthan Science Congress Association (RSCA) working under VDS promotes scientific temper and awareness among the

masses aimed at building up a society ready for scientific, technological innovation led development in the state of Rajasthan. The scientific fraternity of

Rajasthan has keenly taken up this mission of RSCA of promoting science and innovation for a sustainable future.

Udaipur is popularly known as the “City of Lakes” or “Venice of the East” and recently declared the third most city of the world. One of the most popular

city in Rajasthan, Udaipur is quite famous for its beautiful lakes, mountains, massive palaces, architectural temples etc., and boasts of its royal past,

picturesque locations and scenic surroundings offering an amazing experience amidst this desert state of India. Today, it is a perfect mix of old-world

charm and contemporary attractions.

REGISTRATION

Abstract Submission Guidelines for Oral and Poster Presentations:

1. The original typescript, well formatted abstract (A4 size) should be submitted electronically as a comprehensive MS Word file, with 2.5 cm margins.

The text should be in 1.5 line spacing in 'Times New Roman' with font size of 12. The word limit should be 300 words.

2. Abstract should include Title, Full Names and Affiliations of authors and the e-mail ID of the presenting/corresponding author. The name of the

presenting author should be underlined and the name of the corresponding author should bear an asterisk '*'.

3. Please indicate the theme of your abstract on the top right hand corner in 10 font size.

4. Abstract should not include any figures, graphs, tables in the text. References (not more than 3), if cited in the text, should be at the end of the

abstract strictly in APA format.

5. The abstract should be submitted through website only.

6. The abstract will be evaluated by a Scientific Committee.

7. The posters should be prepared as per the instructions regarding size and style. Poster size should be 36 inches x 24 inches (lxb).

8. Few selected abstracts will be asked for full papers to be published in reputed journal.

The oral and poster presentations will be evaluated by experts for their scientific merit. On the basis of contents, presentation, novelty of work,

explanation and relevance to the conference theme. Awards will be announced and presented in the closing session of the conference on October 16,

2019.
