ENGLISH

1. Objective: To enhance students’ creativity and develop language and artistic skills.2. Compose your own written poem with the title like nature, Mercy.3. Write a story with innovative ideas to enhance your creative / Artistic Skills.4. Make a chart of ‘The Tenses’.

MATHEMATICS

1. The students are required to make a folder. The font and the back cover should have a colourful mathematical design based on Tessellations. The students are also required to write a small paragraph on Tessellations and put inside the folder.

2. 2. All the assignments of the topics covered in UT 1 are to be done in the assignment register. The topics are as follows:i. Ch-1 knowing our numbersii. Ch-2 whole numbersiii. Ch-3 playing with numbers

3. Write about the formation of biggest and smallest numbers from 1 to 10 also write their number names.

4. Identify odd and even numbers5. Make one page of prime numbers6. Make one page of factors and multiples

SCIENCE

1. Make a scrap book of your own and draw some science related pictures.2. Prepare a project report on ‘Reusing and Recycling waste’ in a scrap file. The students must choose

any one type of waste i.e. either ‘Biodegradable waste or Non-biodegradable waste’. The project should be supported with facts, figures and pictures.

3. Revise the chapters done for pen paper exam. Short questions will also be asked from chapters.4. Paste some pictures of living and non-living things and differentiate them.5. Paste a fallen leaf in your scrap book and show its parts. Also write its functions.6. Paste some pictures of animals and write their habitat.

SOCIAL SCIENCE

1. Collect symbols & leaflets of different political parties of India & paste them in your Social

Science note book.

2. Do a research work to explore the Constitution of India under the following headings and present them in a scrap file with related pictures.

1. Writing or designing the cover page showing the preamble of India.2. Constitution (Introduction, meaning, need)3. Framing of Constitution and members of Constituent Assembly4. Democracy and its role in the formation of government.5. Preamble and meaning of different key words from the Preamble to understand the philosophy and how preamble leads to the path of democracy 6. 1. Prepare a sturdy of cloth folder or cloth bag of standard size and decorate it with traditional Indian art.
